Some active-duty soldiers members of white supremacist social network
There is no doubt that in a military force of the size of the US Army there are bound to be a few borderline crackpots. However I think that the idea that a fair number of them are also members of white supremacist social networking services should be just a tad discomforting.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, a Alabama base watchdog service that tracks hate groups has compiled a book that contains the online profiles of at least 40 newsaxon.org users who proudly display that they are members of the US Armed Forces. On Friday the SPLC will be presenting its finding to the key members of congress who chair the House and Senate committees overseeing the armed forces. At that point they well be urging the Pentagon to crack down on these affiliations.
“In the wake of several high-profile murders by extremists of the radical right, we urge your committees to investigate the threat posed by racial extremists who may be serving in the military to ensure that our armed forces are not inadvertently training future domestic terrorists,” Morris Dees, SPLC co-founder and chief trial counsel, wrote to the legislators. “Evidence continues to mount that current Pentagon policies are inadequate to prevent racial extremists from joining and serving in the armed forces.”

Mark Potock the editor of the report isn’t expecting much of a reaction from the Pentagon given past experiences where the Pentagon has basically shrugged it off and refused to look into the matter in any serious fashon.
On the newsaxon.org website, which Potok termed “a racist version of Facebook run by the National Socialist Movement,” many participants list their branch of service, base location and hometown on colorful pages festooned with Nazi art and Confederate battle flags. Some say they have served or will soon be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Several include pictures of themselves in camouflage combat uniforms.
One participant under the username “WhitePride85,” who said he is a 24-year-old staff sergeant from Madison, Wis., wrote: “I have been in the Army for over 5 years now … I am a SSGT … I have been in Iraq and Kuwait … I love and will do anything to keep our master race marching. I have been a skinhead forever.”

If this kind of thing is prevalent in the arm forces it makes one wonder just how may deaths in places like Iraq and Afghanistan were honest mistakes or the result of supremacist hatred.

If one is White and believes Whites should have the right to or own agenda as other groups do, one is going to be called a 'Nazi', no matter how inaccurate or ill-founded that accusation may be. The meme they are trying to present goes along with the saying-anything-about-race no matter how well-founded- makes one a 'racist !'- and people are afraid of this name-calling. However, now that things have gotten so, so bad, the 'racist!' moniker doesn't quite have the power it once had to make people cringe and issue disclaimers- so they have to ramp it up a notch and go from 'racist!' to 'Nazi!'- like laundry detergent with added bleach or 'oxidizing power' to make Whites shut up and stop the tea parties, stop being critical of the TV degeneracy trying to influence our kids, to stop being pissed off about illegals and our awful foreign policy in the middle east that is killing us.But what will they do when the name-calling stuff doesn't work anymore? People just say “OK, call me a Nazi if you will- I'm for the preservation of European interests. I don't care what you call me.” Then what will they use to cow people when Joe Blow cares more about how screwed up things have gotten here than he does about being called a name? The worse things get for Joe, the less he is going to care about names, because he doesn't have much more to lose.

Call me when you have less bigoted sources. The SPLC is just as bad as any other bigot group and deserves scorn and nothing more. Let's talk about the members of MS13 or the panthers, Crips, Bloods, etc etc. No one is perfect but the self righteous crap that comes from the splc just shows how easy it is for the real bigots in this nation to influence their moronic base. thanks for the laugh

His twin brother, Dennis, also accused in the case, was deemed a danger to the community and a flight risk and was denied bond. Afterward he said a tearful goodbye to his mother.
Schalebaum has done prison time for other assaults and burglaries and may have ties to white supremacists, Bernier said. Thurston is a white male and …

The consequences of slavery and its guilt and shame will be forgotten about the same time that the Civil War is forgotten.
Whining about reverse racism is never gonna get close to changing those facts.

It never ceases to amaze me that whites feel perfectly justified in glorifying the Civil War and still get riled up about it to this day.
Millions of blacks were involved in the Civil War also.
Blacks feel as strongly as the most dedicated son of the south , or son of the north.
they and Their descendants take on it is just as relevant as anyone else's.
They are also as unlikely as anyone else to change their minds or forget it.
