Amber Alert Issued In New York And Connecticut For Missing 7-Year-Old [Updated]

An Amber Alert has been in issued on Saturday in Connecticut, and has been expanded to include New York as well. Patch reports that 7-year-old Ariel Revello is missing. According to the Amber Alert issued Saturday, the child is a white child, approximately four-feet-eight inches tall and weighing about 75 pounds. The Amber Alert indicates that the child is missing from his home in Trumbull, Connecticut.

According to the information initially released in Saturday’s Amber Alert, Ariel Revello was taken from his home on Unity Road after a domestic violence situation which took place between the child’s mother and her estranged husband, who is also reportedly the biological father of Ariel.

The estranged husband, identified as 43-year-old Rodolfo Revello, reportedly forced his way into the residence where his estranged wife, 7-year-old Ariel Revello and at least one other minor, a 17-year-old sibling of Ariel, reside. The break-in took place sometime before 4:30 a.m., which was when police responded to the residence after a report of domestic violence was received by dispatch.

According to information in the police report, the Amber Alert was issued after it was discovered that the victim has been assaulted in her bedroom. The assault victim escaped further injury by jumping out of her bedroom window to get away from the assailant.

Follow-ups to the Amber Alert issued Saturday indicates that after forcing his way into the home, Rodolfo Revello was able to grab a knife from the kitchen, but that he was ultimately disarmed by his estranged wife’s 17-year-old son, his stepson.

Ultimately, the events leading to the Amber Alert resulted in the domestic violence victim being hospitalized and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Reports related to the Amber Alert indicate that Rodolfo stole “several thousands of dollars” worth of jewelry and cash from the residence. Rodolfo left the home with the cash, valuables and his son, who he woke and took along with him.

According to the Amber Alert, Rodolfo was last seen driving a 2015 Ford Van with Connecticut license plate number C040379. Rodolfo Revello is described as being a Hispanic male, bald, 5? 9? tall and weighing about 190 pounds.

According to the Amber Alert, 7-year-old Ariel was last seen dressed in blue and gray pajamas with a gray sweatshirt, a “puffy jacket,” olive green in color and blue Croc shoes. The Amber Alert was issued in response to what police have chosen to describe as a “family abduction.”

While the Amber Alert was originally issued in Connecticut, it has been expanded to include New York State as well. This decision was made when the police received information that the suspect in the abduction is believed to be headed to the Bronx area with his son.
