Adam Levine’s Wife Behati Prinsloo Is Pregnant, Is He Leaving ‘The Voice’?

Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are reportedly expecting their first child. Although the couple has remained tight-lipped in regard to their baby news, Adam Levine did hint at the announcement on Instagram earlier this week.

Along with a photo of baby bibs hanging on a clothes line, Adam Levine informed fans, “Yeah. we sellin’ bibs now.”

While few thought much of the post at the time, Us Weekly has since confirmed Adam Levine’s wife’s pregnancy news with multiple sources, claiming Prinsloo is about three to four months along.

In 2014, after marrying Prinsloo that July, Adam Levine spoke to Ryan Seacrest, via People Magazine, dishing on marriage, starting a family and slowing down.

“The relationship doesn’t change,” Adam Levine told Seacrest of his marriage to the Victoria’s Secret model, but it does make him feel “slightly more masculine… If it’s the right marriage, if it’s the right person, the guy feels a little bit more like a man.”

As for children, Adam Levine made it clear that he and Prinsloo weren’t stopping at just one.

“I want to have 100 kids,” Levine joked. “I want to have more kids than is socially responsible. We can’t do it right now, but it’s in the works.”

Around the time of his interview, Maroon 5 was embarking on a series of shows after releasing their new album, V, and Adam Levine was also filming The Voice. Meanwhile, Prinsloo continues to model for a number of brands, and was recently featured in the Victoria’s Secret Swim Special on CBS.

Currently, Adam Levine and his wife appear to be just as busy as they’ve always been, but as he revealed two years ago, there will come a time where he pulls back on his career to focus on his life outside of work.

“We want to tour, to a certain degree, forever, but at which point does this start to interfere with other things in life that you want to do? There’s probably a day when I’m working a lot less and enjoying my job a little more,” he said.

Earlier this week, prior to Adam Levine’s big news, a source alleged the rocker was planning to quit his role on The Voice to start a family with Prinsloo. According to a Life & Style source, via Hollywood Life, Adam Levine has had enough of the show and is ready to focus on life at home with Prinsloo. However, a second source, who spoke with Hollywood Life, claimed Adam Levine had no plans to leave the show — regardless of whether or not he was about to become a father.

“Adam would stay with The Voice and will stay with The Voice even if he becomes a father,” an insider explained. “The amount of time he would have to be away really wouldn’t be that much. He could easily do both. The Voice schedule would offer no neglect to family duties and he would be able to do it because The Voice would be accommodating to all of his needs. They would all be able to work out a proper schedule to make it all work out. ”

Despite his Instagram hint this week, Adam Levine has not yet confirmed the news of his wife’s alleged pregnancy, and Prinsloo hasn’t said a thing on social media either.
