‘Real Housewives’ Star Kenya Moore Gives Update On Her Relationship With Matt Jordan

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has just wrapped this season of the show and she’s filmed the reunion for the show. In other words, she’s now done with the Real Housewives franchise for a while, which means she can focus on finishing up her home and possibly getting pregnant. While building her home and trying for a baby without a man, she met Matt Jordan. The two dated casually throughout this previous season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and she’s now starting to think about the future.

According to a new Bravo report, this Real Housewives star is now giving her thoughts on this new relationship. As she mentioned on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya didn’t want to move him into her new house she’s been building until he put a ring on it. And while he may be thinking about it, it may be too soon to marry her. But she knows he’s a catch and this Real Housewives star recently opened up about her relationship.

“Matt is very patient, loving, and definitely very passionate about all things Kenya. I’ve tested his love on every level and he is very consistent,” she explains about the relationship, adding about the age difference, “Being truthful, it does worry me sometimes. I tend to think long-term and I wonder how our relationship will evolve. Sometimes I overthink, so I’m trying to teach myself not to and enjoy the ride.”

Plus, it sounds like Moore really likes this relationship because Matt keeps her on her feet. During last week’s episode of TheReal Housewives of Atlanta, he surprised her with a date to The Melting Pot – a restaurant where you have to cook your own food at your table, via a fondue pot. And while she may not have been impressed at first, it was something that ended up working well for them.

“Oh my God, that was hysterical to me. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I was asked to cook my own meal. But we had fun, and that is all that matters,” she explains of the date that played out on Sunday’s episode of TheReal Housewives of Atlanta.

Before she met Matt, Moore had been planning to have a baby. And it is clear by her conversations with her boyfriend that he would be willing to have the same. And Moore is ready to get tested, as she’s getting older. But he wasn’t in the same rush.

“You know, you have to be on a schedule, and you have to be tested at a very specific time,” Kenya has previously revealed of her plans to have a baby, according to Bravo, adding, “And it just never worked out while I was filming, and so I just decided to do it while I’m not [filming], and we’ll see. Kandi [Burruss] did it while she wasn’t filming, and I figured this is the best way for me to do it.”

And it sounds like things are working out for this Real Housewives star, as the relationship continues to grow. She doesn’t say much about the relationship in the press, as she may prefer to let the Real Housewives viewers see it for themselves as the show continues to air.

“It’s going well,” the Real Housewives star has revealed of her relationship, according to Bravo, adding, “I have learned from my mistakes, and I definitely just go one step at a time. I don’t try to dream anymore, I just live in the moment, and it just seems to be working for me right now. I do have his social security number. He’s been background checked.”
