Courtney Stodden Nude Selfie: Attempts To Copy Kim K’s Nude Photo
It’s not shocking to hear that Courtney Stodden is also confident and comfortable with her own body. She posts plenty of semi-nude and nude photos on her Instagram page. But the reality decided to copy Kim Kardashian’s nude selfies, which have been causing a backlash on social media.
Courtney Stodden, 21, took to her social media accounts to post a nude photo of herself on Tuesday, March 8 in an attempt to break the internet like Kim Kardashian, 35, did with her nude selfie from earlier this week. In the same coy expression as Kardashian’s photo, Stodden’s nude selfie included black bars to cover certain parts of her naked body.
She shared her own mirror selfie with her fans. where the reality star coyly wrote, “Working on a new single! It’s coming out soon…Oh & I can’t find anything to wear either, Kim! #girlproblems #kimkardashian”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star captioned her throwback photo, “When you have nothing to wear LOL.”
Fans were debating on whose nude photo was better.
One wrote, “Why ruin the picture with black bars?”
Another one added, “So much hotter than Kim,” while a third agreed, writing, “You are much better.”
The last time Courtney Stodden took a nude photo was in late February, when she shared a super casual photo of herself lying in bed naked. She captioned the photo with the hashtag #bedbug.
Kardashian nearly broke the internet and caused widespread debate among several celebrities this week, including Bette Midler and Chloe Grace Moretz. The KUWTK star revealed on her website that the reason why she posted the old nude is because she feels “empowered” by her body and her sexuality. Stodden’s attempts may be to distract fans from the shocking revelation that her mom, Krista Keller, 56, is in love with her husband, Doug Hutchison.
She is currently starring on Lifetime’s The Mother/Daughter Experiment with Krista, who revealed to Us Weekly that she “emotionally bonded” with Doug when things got tough with Courtney.
“He was asking me to stay there with him and saying that he’s had fantasies of having both Courtney and me. And so when he started talking like that, I thought, Oh, my God – this is headed not in a good direction. So I’m the one that actually decided to step away and encourage Doug to find help somewhere else.”
Apart from the creepy mother-daughter threesome fantasy, there were plenty of reasons to interfere. Stodden first made headlines when she married the actor, who is 34 years her senior, in 2011 at the young age of 16. Her mother consented to their union at the time. Although the couple briefly separated in 2015, they renewed their vows later that year.
However, Stodden revealed to In Touch Weekly that she and Hutchison are planning to renew their vows again on their fifth wedding anniversary coming in June. The former teen bride also opened up about possibly having kids in the future.
“Our relationship right now is really, really good. We’re really strong and we’re very happy. We’re getting ready to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and we’re absolutely going to renew our vows for our fifth wedding anniversary. So, yeah, we’re doing really, really well!”
Considering that the blonde bombshell was caught buying pregnancy tests a few months ago, Courtney was coy about whether or not she’s expanding her family.
“Oh boy! I don’t know if we’re ready for a baby right now. We have two little fur babies, so those are kind of our babies right now. But you never know!”
The aspiring singer has previously released three singles: “Car Candy,” “Don’t Put It On Me Girl,” and “Reality.” Courtney has also released her own solo sex tape through Vivid Entertainment for a reported $1 million.
It’s highly unlikely that Stodden’s nude selfie will incite reaction and debate, much like Kardashian’s has. Everyone should be used to seeing nudity by now.
