Lea Michele Admits She’s ‘Grateful’ For Her Butt, Cites Gwyneth Paltrow & Kate Hudson As ‘Role Models’

Lea Michele is revealing that she’s “grateful” for her butt and revealing why Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson are her role models.

Michele made the cheeky behind admission in a new interview People Style Watch, where she confessed to the site that both her derriere and her legs are actually her two favorite parts of her anatomy.

“For being only 5’3?, I have to say I really like my legs,” Lea Michele recently confessed to the site of her favored body part, adding, “And my butt’s not bad … I’m grateful for that, too!”

But this certainly isn’t the first time Lea Michele has revealed that she’s pretty proud of her assets, as she even described her butt as a “showstopper” in a recent interview with Marie Claire.

Michele, who will be returning for season two of Fox’s Scream Queens later this year also opened up about her celebrity role models to People Style Watch, where she admitted that two of her biggest inspirations are actually two of her former Glee A-List guest stars.

“I worked with Gwyneth [Paltrow] and Kate [Hudson] on Glee and learned from both of them that being healthy is something you should do because it brings you joy,” Michele told the site last month, admitting that the actresses are both her “role models” because of their healthy outlook on life.

But when Lea Michele isn’t seeking inspiration from her former Glee co-stars, she’s busy working on her upcoming second studio album, which Michele recently told EXTRA is due for release at the end of 2016.

“I’m now working on my second record,” Lea revealed to EXTRA of the follow-up to her 2014 debut Louder. “[I’m] really excited about it, it’s such a great record,” Michele continued, adding that singing “is always something she’s going to be doing.”

Michele previously opened up about her upcoming release in a candid interview with FLARE magazine back in November, where she admitted that her new album will take her back to her Broadway roots and away from the pop-heavy sound of her debut.

“I’m going back to my roots. It’s not a Broadway album, but there are definitely theatrical elements to it,” Michele confessed of her new album to the magazine last year.

“It’s not about being a pop record and getting on the radio; for me, this is about people listening to the songs and going ‘Oh, that’s Lea Michele? I really don’t think there are other people that could sing those songs,” Lea continued.

Michele’s confessions about her second release come just months after Lea opened up about the “problems” that resulted in the somewhat mediocre success her debut album, which has sold around 470,000 copies worldwide according to Billboard, received following its 2014 release.

“The problem with the first record was that I would record a song, and then I would get it back from production and it would sound very different,” Lea told Marie Claire of Louder last year, adding that her first experience recording a full studio album was “jarring,”

“That’s why I’m more hands-on on this,” Michele continued, referencing her upcoming as-yet-untitled second studio album. “This is about experience, about confidence,” Lea said, joking that creating an album is like bringing up a child.

“I’m sure it’s like—kids? The first time around, you’re just kind of winging it. You’re like, ‘I hope I don’t f*** up this kid.’ The second time around, you’re not as intimidated, so you know how to handle each thing,” Lea revealed, admitting that she has “a clearer vision” for her second album.
