First ‘Silent Hill: Revelation’ Trailer Revealed [Video]


The first trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill: Revelation has finally been revealed, according to Yahoo Movies.

Revelation is the sequel to the 2006 film Silent Hill, which starred Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean as a married couple whose adopted daughter, Sharon (Jodelle Ferland) sleepwalks and calls out the name “Silent Hill.” Desperate for answers, Rose (Mitchell) takes her daughter to Silent Hill, and the two encounter creepy townspeople, a terrifying monster named Pyramid Head, and a secret that will make them wish they never came to the town.

According to IMDB,

“Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.”

Sean Bean will reprise his role as Christopher Da Silva from the first film, but will also play Heather’s father Harry Mason. Radha Mitchell will also reprise her role as Rose Da Silva. Debra Kara Unger, who played Dahlia Gillespie in the first film, will also be returning, and Heather will be played by Australian actress Adelaide Clemens.

The film is based on the third installment in the video game series, Silent Hill 3, and is set to be released in October 2012. You can watch the trailer below.
