Taylor Swift’s, Calvin Harris’ 1-Year Anniversary: Is She Giving Him An Engagement Ultimatum?

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are currently celebrating their one-year anniversary on this day, Sunday, March 6. This is the first serious relationship for the “Out of the Woods” singer, and is the DJ’s first successful high-profiled relationship since his split from British pop star Rita Ora.

Taylor Swift, 26, and Calvin Harris, 32, are celebrating their one-year anniversary all weekend long, and took to social media to share the special moment with their fans. The musical couple marked the occasion with a homemade cake covered in chocolate icing that featured the phrase “1 Year” in white frosting and two red glitter hearts. Harris took to his Snapchat account to show off his masterpiece, along with a guest appearance by Swift’s beaming face.

Calvin took another photo of the cake along with the caption, “1 year…that was easy.” This wasn’t the only gift that Taylor received from her beau. She showed off the gold heart-shaped locket engraved with the date 3-6-2015 on her Instagram account, which is the couple’s anniversary date. An alleged insider revealed to E! Online that Calvin wanted to get her something meaningful for their one-year anniversary.

“He bought the locket all his own. Calvin is not a flashy guy when it comes to gifts and he knows Taylor appreciate the small meaningful things, so he thought this would be the perfect gift.”

Unfortunately, fans won’t find out what’s inside Swift’s lock anytime soon. The insider said that it holds “something special,” but wouldn’t specify what exactly. Swift was extremely pleased with Harris’ gifts. The insider added that she will keep the locket close to her heart – literally.

“Taylor is a true hopeless romantic kind of lady and she thought Calvin really outdid himself with this gift. He had surprises for Taylor all throughout the day.”

Of course, new engagement rumors have been swirling yet again. E! Online’s source added that although Swift and Harris have no plans to marry, the DJ knows how special the good-girl singer is.

“Calvin knows Taylor is the woman for him. Out of all of Calvin’s relationships, he seems the happiest with Taylor. He always says to all of his friends that Taylor is marriage material.”

Earlier this week, rumors were swirling that Taylor Swift has given Calvin Harris a “wedding ultimatum,” according to a national tabloid. The report claims that Swift wants to be engaged by the summertime, and if Harris doesn’t follow through, then she will walk out on him.

An insider close to the couple told the Gossip Cop that the tabloid story is not true. The tabloid alleges that Taylor’s friends, Lena Dunham, and Karlie Kloss, are engaged to their boyfriends, which is also not true. The Gossip Cop has been told that Tay Tay has not made any engagement ultimatums with Calvin, and that she hasn’t been bitten by the wedding bug.

Instead, the couple have been spotted holding hands and looking smitten with each other on various dates, an eyewitness even confirmed to Hollywood Life that Tayvin spent their one-year anniversary at one of their favorite spots.

“Taylor and Calvin looked crazy in love with each other the entire time they were eating dinner.”

Just because they’re happy and in love, doesn’t mean that they’re going to make sweet music anytime soon. According to a new report in The Sun, Harris has turned down the opportunity to collaborate with his superstar girlfriend. The reason behind his decision is that he doesn’t want to mix business with pleasure like he did with ex-girlfriend Rita Ora. Instead, Harris is looking to collaborate with Beyonce.

“Calvin has seen how sour things can turn when working with someone he’s dating. He is very serious about Taylor and doesn’t want to rock the boat. He’s smitten. Instead, he is in talks with Beyonce as he’s always wanted the pair to work together.”
