Matt Bomer Hoax: ’50 Shades Of Grey’ Movie Still Looking For Its Christian Grey
This morning the world went crazy when they heard that Matt Bomer, the blue-eyed dream boat of White Collar, would be playing Christian Grey in the upcoming movie based on the erotic novel, 50 Shades of Grey. Unfortunately, the rumor is false.
The rumor started when a photo-shopped image of the new Entertainment Weekly made its way around the internet.
The cover showed Bomer in a suit and tie under the title: 50 Shades Of Grey – The Wait Is Over – Matt Bomer Talks About Changing The White Collar For The Grey Tie.
The Inquisitr reported earlier today that the movie-adaptation of 50 Shades Of Grey is currently in the works, but writers, directors, and actors still need to be hired.
Basically, the Matt Bomer rumor seemed a little fishy.
Dana Brunetti, one of the producers for the new film, confirmed on Twitter that the White Collar star was not signed on to play Christian Grey in the new movie.
Brunetti writes:
All of the rumors on #FiftyShades are just that – rumors. No one has been cast in any role. We have to get a writer and director first.

Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, and Ryan Gosling are currently rumored for the role, but Brunetti should probably take another look at Bomer. He has a devious side, as shown in his TV show White Collar, and he definitely has sex appeal, as shown in his latest movie Magic Mike.

Bomer isn’t the first celebrity to fall victim to a magazine photo-shop hoax. Earlier this year, rumors circulated that Taylor Lautner was gay after a shopped cover of People Magazine declared that he had come out of the closet.

I think Henry Carvill is great to play Christion Grey!~ Matt Bomer is also great for the part! and Alexis Blidal is Anastasia! She's gorgeous and fits the part of Anastasia!
