Men will no longer have to walk down aisle after aisle to fill their shopping carts. Instead, men will be able to fulfill all of their shopping needs with one trip down the store’s “man aisle.”

The Westside Market NYC recently launched a “man aisle” that aims to put everything a man needs in one convenient place.

Ian Joskowitz, the chief operating officer of the Upper Westside store, said:

“It’s your essentials. It’s your water, alcohol, soaps, shampoos, deodorants, razors…. If you’re going to have some guys over to watch a game, you can pretty much stand here — not move two feet — and get your beer, barbecue sauce, chips, whatever. It’s all right here!”

According to the NY Post, the store’s “man aisle” was inspired by a recent study by ESPN that said that men are shopping more often. According to ESPN, 31 percent of men are now shopping for their families, compared to 14 percent in the 1980s.

The store’s CEO, George Zoitas, said:

“Guys don’t like taking lists when they go shopping. This helps them remember what they need.”

So the “man aisle” will help 31% of America’s family by supplying them with alcohol, condoms, and barbecue-chips?

The man aisle doesn’t really make sense from a “this will make life easier for the American family” standpoint, but from the “let’s get drunk and eat chips” standpoint, it’s brilliant.
