Tory Lanez’s ‘Tim Duncan’: Announces Tour And Calls Out Haters

Tory Lanez takes it up another notch with “Tim Duncan.” The Toronto-based artist dropped the song and has been relishing in social media’s response. But, is it all positive?

Obviously, Tory Lanez isn’t one to bite his tongue when expressing his songs. “Tim Duncan” listeners have noted that the track is nothing less than “fire” coming through their speakers.

If you haven’t heard Tory Lanez’s “Tim Duncan,” you can listen in the video below.

In the track, Lanez talks about his come-up from nothing to “two sisters doing s**t that they ain’t done before.” Likewise, Tory Lanez elaborated via Twitter that he doesn’t miss his old job. After someone tagged Tory in a tweet showing a calamity of Denny’s dishes, Lanez expressed, “Bro, this is why this was my last job. Follow ur dreams. Mines started there.”

As far as Lanez’s music is concerned, Tory is currently touring various U.S. cities. However, if you’re overseas and wondering when you can catch Tory Lanez live, he just announced his European tour as well, which begins in May. Tickets became available on March 4 and are still open. Below is a list of Tory Lanez’s tour locations.

  • 5/3 – London, United Kingdom at XOYO
  • 5/6 – Paris, France at Caberet Sauvage
  • 5/7 – Brussels, Belgium at Bloody Louis
  • 5/9 – Amsterdam, Netherlands at Paradiso
  • 5/11 – Berlin, Germany at Bricks
  • 5/12 – Cologne, Germany at Underground
  • 5/13 – Copenhagen, Denmark at Amager Bio
  • 5/14 – Stockholm, Sweden at Klubben
  • 5/15 – Oslo, Norway at John Dee

According to Tory Lanez, his European tour is going to be “fire” as well. Since Lanez released “Tim Duncan,” he also made an affirming statement to the public.

Via Lanez’s Twitter, Tory states, “Don’t mistake me being humble for weakness. Bar for bar. Melody for melody. I assure u, I’m not afraid to give any one this work.”

Similar to many Tory Lanez’s songs, he possibly knew that “Tim Duncan” would draw his listeners, as well as other, potential opposition. Days before the song’s release, Lanez also mentioned that he’ll have the crown at the end of it all. And, moreover, Tory Lanez feels that everyone should keep his words in mind for the future when it happens.

Just days ago, when Tory’s “Tim Duncan” hadn’t released yet, people were still trying to get over his Drake diss in the “Uber Everywhere” remix. According to the Inquisitr, Tory Lanez threw jabs at Drake and Metro Boomin’ in the song.

Yet, even in the midst of “Tim Duncan,” this isn’t the first or second time Tory Lanez has taken verbal swings at other artists. Indirectly, he once threw a few jabs toward Chris Brown via the song “Karrueche.” Lanez apparently caught her attention as well.

Surely, Tory knew that Chris Brown and Karrueche were going through issues back and forth. Tory Lanez also mentioned those direct concerns and stated that she deserved much better than her usual type of guy. And for the past few years, Brown has been that “usual.”

All in all, Tory Lanez’s “Tim Duncan” makes the cut along with his other songs, as deemed by Tory’s popular consensus. And like any artist who’s thankful for his or her listeners, Lanez offered the following tweet to his fans. Without their support, Tory’s “Tim Duncan” would fade into the massive abyss that is “the internet.”

What’s your stance on Lanez’s “Tim Duncan” — as well as his callout? Likewise, do you think other artists will respond to Tory Lanez “bar for bar”? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
