Amanda Stanton Shares That Her Girls Still Ask About Ben Higgins
Amanda Stanton tried to find love on The Bachelor 2016, but it didn’t work out for her. Amanda is the single mom of two gorgeous little girls and actually brought them on her hometown date to meet Ben Higgins. Now Amanda is revealing that her girls didn’t forget about it either. Us Weekly shared that Amanda is now revealing that her girls are still asking about the guy that their mom fell for on the show. Sometimes single moms will wait around to introduce the guy to their kids until they are serious, and on this show you just never know when you will end up getting sent home.
Amanda Stanton shared that she is okay with how it all went down when she introduced her girls to him. Amanda’s daughters have fond memories of their day on the show and it did look like they had a great time. Amanda Stanton shared that they do ask about him though. It sounds like her daughters really did enjoy the time they had with him on the show.
“They’ve asked about him. My kids are the friendliest kids ever. I’ve never introduced a guy to my kids before. But I also introduced Ben in a very friendly way. We didn’t kiss in front of them — we didn’t even really hug in front of them.”

Stanton went on to explain that the girls had such a fun time with him and Kinsley got to watch the scenes back from the show. She remembers him as that guy that they had a fun day at the beach with and doesn’t seem to think of him as someone that her mom Amanda Stanton was involved with because he was simply introduced to the girls as a friend. If you watched the show, they had a great time together and there was no PDA in front of her daughters.

One other thing that Amanda Stanton shared is that she will get an apology from Olivia in the upcoming “Women Tell All” special. She was a bit shocked by it.
“It was more than I expected out of her. I was happy with it. At the end of the day, everybody is entitled to their own opinions, and not everybody is going to have the same idea of being a mom or being a single mom as I do, or how a lot of people do. So I think it’s something that I just have to get used to, and there is always going to be somebody who feels like my kids are baggage or that no guy is going to want me because I have kids, and I feel like that’s kind of how she felt.”
Entertainment Tonight also shared what Amanda Stanton had to say about the possibility of becoming The Bachelorette next season. Her oldest daughter is about to start kindergarten and the idea of putting them in the public eye right now is something she isn’t sure about at all. Amanda says that she might be better off meeting a guy the normal way, but she did share that if they offer her the show she would consider it. As of right now, Amanda Stanton doesn’t look like she will be the one handing out roses next season.
