Donald Trump Junior Interviewed By Pro-Slavery Radio Host

Another Donald Trump is reportedly getting cozy with some white supremacists; this time, it’s Donald Trump Junior. Mere days after the GOP presidential front-runner refused to condemn the Ku Klux Klan (or his supporters among the organization, including former grand dragon, David Duke) and then promptly blamed his refusal to disavow the KKK on a faulty earpiece, his son has chosen to follow in dad’s famous footsteps. Donald Trump Junior reportedly granted a 20-minute interview to a high-profile white supremacist.

The Guardian reports that Donald Trump Junior, the eldest son of the Republican presidential candidate, will be guest of honor on “The Political Cesspool,” also known as “primary radio nexus of hate in America.”

Donald Trump Junior reportedly granted the 20-minute interview on the radio show, which lists among its objectives growing “the percentage of Whites in the world relative to other races.” The show’s host, James Edwards, is a famed pro-slavery white supremacist. Previous guests on the show include the infamous (former) KKK grand dragon, David Duke, neo-Nazis and even Holocaust deniers.

Not only was Edwards granted an interview by Donald Trump Junior, he was also given media credentials by the Trump presidential campaign. This means that the avowed white supremacist was given a VIP parking spot and a media badge in order to get some face time with Donald Trump Junior.

Edwards, the “Political Cesspool” host, has publicly claimed that the best thing that ever happened to black people was slavery. Ironically, he also believes that Donald Trump is the best thing that has happened to the Republican Party.

The controversial radio host enjoyed last Saturday’s Donald Trump rally with full press credentials. He watched the event from the “media pen” and while there, hosted a live broadcast of his radio show, a show advertised as “unapologetically pro-white.” During the show, he managed his 20-minute interview with Donald Trump Junior, potentially part of the next first family. The news of the 20-minute interview with Donald Trump Junior was broken on the “Political Cesspool” blog. According to the blog post, the Donald Trump Junior interview was a mere fragment of an “inspirational” Donald Trump experience.

“(Next Saturday’s show [March 5] will feature a previously taped 20-minute interview with Donald Trump, Jr.) It was a very memorable day and I’d now like to take my audience behind the scenes.”

Despite the very detailed claims by James Edwards of an upcoming Donald Trump Junior interview being broadcast on his show, the Donald Trump campaign claims that no such interview took place. Indeed, according to the Trump campaign, Donald Trump Junior was not even at the Saturday Trump even. Furthermore, the Trump campaign goes on to say that Donald Trump Junior “to his knowledge” give an interview to proud white supremacist Edwards.

The Donald Trump campaign doesn’t contradict claims that the “Political Cesspool” host was given full press credentials to the Trump rally. However, according to the Donald Trump campaign, the campaign “strongly condemns” Edwards’ personal views.

Since the news broke of the Donald Trump Junior interview, the junior Trump has gone on record to “disavow” James Edwards and his views on slavery, reports Bloomberg. Donald Trump Junior is now telling the press that he was conducting another, previously scheduled, telephone interview when the “Political Cesspool” host interjected questions without consent.

“He was brought into the interview without my knowledge. Had I known, I would have obviously never done an interview with him.”

James Edwards continues to tout his upcoming, previously-recorded interview with Donald Trump Junior, which is scheduled to air on his show on March 5. The news of the potential interview couldn’t have been more untimely for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Following the elder Trump’s refusal to distinctly disavow former KKK grand wizard David Duke, he’s been under intense scrutiny from political rivals and media outlets alike.

David Duke has very publicly supported Donald Trump for president, and it took until a press conference just a week ago for Trump Senior to (somewhat) clarify his stance on David Duke.

“I didn’t even know he endorsed me. David Duke endorsed me? I disavow. OK?”

Donald Trump’s closest political rivals, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, came out swinging against the GOP front-runner for his lukewarm disavowal of Duke, but Trump still managed to practically sweep the Super Tuesday primaries. Only time (and possibly the March 5th broadcast of the advertised “interview”) will tell how much of an impact Donald Trump Junior’s alleged interview will have on his father’s campaign.
