Kristen Stewart Devastated After Cheating On Robert Pattinson With Director

It was only just recently that Robert Pattinson denied that he and longtime love Kristen Stewart were getting married, and now it seems as though there’s a huge bump in the road for Stewart and Pattinson.

According to sources close to Kristen Stewart, the actress had an affair with  married director Rupert Sanders, who was behind Kristen’s latest film Snow White and the Huntsman.  The revelation of this news and the fact that this supposedly went on behind boyfriend Robert Pattinson’s back  is rocking the boat a little too much for the couple who have been going out for three years.

One source tells People magazine that Stewart is feeling the guilt saying of Kristen’s disposition, “Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment.”  However, sources have said don’t be too quick to categorize this as your regular run of the mill affair,  “She wasn’t having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn’t have happened,” continues the source. “She never meant to hurt anyone. She’s a good person who just made a bad choice.”

When People magazine reached Rupert Sanders representative, no one returned a call for a comment. The director is said to be married with two children as well. If there was any evidence that Pattinson knew about the stolen moment, he wasn’t letting on during Comic Con. At the San Diego event the pair were seen laughing it up.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson met while filming the Twilight saga, and reports began surfacing during the film’s release that they were an item. Although shy about their relationship status at first, the two have opened up as the years passed.
