Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth Fake Relationship To Increase Net Worth, Confirms ‘The Bachelorette’ Alum

The Bachelorette 2015 alum JJ Lane claims that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are never going to get married. The reality star revealed that their relationship is nothing but a “sham,” adding that the duo are only staying together for the money.

In an interview with In Touch Weekly, JJ said that Kaitlyn and Shawn had a “business relationship.” He believes that The Bachelorette 2015 couple will never get married as they had been lying about their relationship all along. But in the event that they do tie the knot, Lane speculated that it will only lead to a nasty divorce.

“Kaitlyn and Shawn’s relationship is a sham. They have a business relationship. Shawn is only sticking with her for the money.”

JJ Lane insisted that Kaitlyn Bristowe will never be with someone as “jealous” and “insecure” as Shawn Booth. The Bachelorette 2015 alum claimed that the two have ended their relationship long before and only decided to stay together to increase their net worth.

Lane was eliminated from The Bachelorette 2015 after he admitted on cheating with his wife in the past. While Bristowe appreciated his honesty, she feared that he will eventually commit the same mistake.

Shortly after Lane’s interview went viral, fans of The Bachelorette started tweeting to Kaitlyn and Shawn, asking for an explanation. Bristowe wasted no time and slammed JJ’s accusations on Twitter.

“He needs to put on a pink shirt, remember he has a daughter, and try for ONE day to be kind. Shame on him.”

While many were heartbroken upon hearing that their relationship could be fake, some viewers claimed that they knew all along that Bristowe and Booth were only together for the money. They speculated that the reality stars could just be taking advantage of their newfound fame and cashing in on endorsements. Life & Style magazine previously reported that The Bachelorette couple has a combined net worth of over $3 million.

“For each product they’re Instagramming or tweeting, they could net $15,000 per post. [As a spokesperson for a product] they could fetch up to $500,000 each,” branding expert David Johnson told the publication.

If Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth will stay together for another more year, Johnson believes that they could easily grow their profit margin by an additional 50 percent. He pointed out that their wedding alone, if they agreed to have a televised ceremony, could give them another million to boot.

If Kaitlyn and Shawn make it to two years, they also get to keep the Neil Lane-sponsored diamond ring reportedly worth a couple hundred thousand dollars.

While some speculated that JJ Lane was just bitter after being eliminated from The Bachelorette 2015, multiple insiders insisted that Bristowe and Booth have indeed broken up. CDL pointed out that viewers already saw how insecure Shawn was during the last season, especially when Kaitlyn admitted that she got intimate with Nick Viall.

Last October, a source confirmed to In Touch magazine that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth were having relationship problems. Turns out, they only acted “lovey-dovey” when there were fans and cameras around. The insider claimed that The Bachelorette couple immediately stopped holding hands and acted like “total strangers” when there is no one around.

While Kaitlyn and Shawn truly fell in love with each other on the show, his incessant jealousy was allegedly what drove the couple apart.

“He was constantly on her about who she was texting and talking to. Shawn never showed this side of himself during the show. Kaitlyn eventually realized that she didn’t want to be with someone like that.”
