WWE Rumors: Something Big Is Happening Monday — NXT Champ Finn Balor Teases Bulletproof Again

Finn Balor’s arrival in NXT in 2014 was one of the biggest wrestling stories of the year, and he’s done nothing but impress. Now, some of his former friends and partners from New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) have arrived or are heading to WWE. With that, rumors of a form of the Bullet Club debuting have been around for months, and it now appears as if “Bulletproof” is coming, and Balor has teased something arriving on Monday.

On Saturday, Balor decided to hop on Twitter and make a huge tease as he’s done a number of times before. Rumors of a version of the Bullet Club, or Bulletproof in WWE, have been swirling, and the NXT Champion sure loves to tease the fans.

At the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles made his debut and another Bullet Club member from NJPW had officially joined WWE. When this happened, Styles’ debut was such a huge deal that talks of a Bullet Club, or Balor Club, were minimal.

Rumors of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, two other former Bullet Club members, arriving in WWE started growing stronger as well. Recently, the two had their final match in NJPW and Anderson even publicly stated that he was heading to WWE.

It’s not yet known if they will start in NXT or WWE. There has been no comment by WWE on either of them signing.

Finn Balor’s tweet makes it seem as if some kind of announcement is coming on Monday, and that could be the official signing of Anderson and Gallows by WWE. If that were to happen, it’s rumored they would start in NXT and eventually work their way up to WWE’s main roster.

Anderson and Gallows were an extremely strong and successful tag team in NJPW, and were a part of a strong stable in the Bullet Club. Now, Balor is teasing that something is coming on Monday and that “something” could be WWE officially announcing the signings of the two stars.

Gallows had spent a good bit of time in WWE before and under a few different gimmicks. Anderson has never been in WWE on any level.

Now, Balor’s teasing of a version of Bullet Club called Bulletproof has been happening for a couple of months now, but really picked up this week. Just a few days ago, he had tweeted out something very similar to what he posted on Saturday.

PW Mania did take notice that both Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows retweeted this first “Bulletproof” teaser that Balor posted on Tuesday night. So far on Saturday, Anderson has retweeted out the new post from Balor saying that something is happening on Monday.

It does certainly appear as if “Bulletproof” is going to be the name of a new stable in WWE, and that they will be a form of the Bullet Club from NJPW. This is interesting though, considering WWE had already started selling shirts that say “Balor Club,” but still, anything is possible.

With Gallows and Anderson likely being announced as coming to NXT soon, they could very well join forces with Finn Balor. The interesting thing to see is if Bulletproof will be heading to WWE’s main roster as a group or one at a time.

From there, will AJ Styles end up siding with them or opposing them?

It’s a fun time to be a fan of wrestling, and WWE is bringing a lot of great things right now with new signings, WrestleMania 32, big returns, and so much more. Finn Balor is ready for some company in NXT, and it looks as if Monday will be the day that things get Bulletproof.
