‘??Call of Duty: Black Ops III??’ Is Available For Free On Your PC This Weekend, If You’re Without An Xbox/PlayStation 4

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III is an addictive game for gamers, and it’s free to play on multiplayer this weekend for your PC. The freebie is called the Multiplayer Starter Pack and it started on Thursday at 10 a.m., according to Stream Community, and it is going to end on Sunday at 1 p.m. PST. Gamers who don’t have an Xbox or a PlayStation 4 will be able to try the Multiplayer Starter Pack; however, your time may be cut short before 1:00 p.m. PST on Sunday. The event will stop at level 55 and you won’t be able to move forward. But, you will be able to receive Double XP for playing through the weekend, which is a nice little added bonus for Call of Duty fans.

As well as Call Of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer mode, gamers will be able to try features such as the ranked Arena, Gunsmith, Weapon Paint Shop, Theater tools, and more. If you’re able to upgrade, you can gain access to the full version of the game, which allows you to try features like:

  • Zombies game mode
  • Campaign game mode
  • Being able to play in Multiplayer custom games
  • The choice to Prestige (your level will be capped at 55 in the Starter Pack)
  • Accessing mod tools or modded content (once released)
  • Accessing unranked server browser (once released)
  • Being able to Fresh Start your profile
  • The ability to access Dead Ops Arcade II as well as Nightmares mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is going to be available for purchase this weekend at a lower price. The Standard Edition will be available at a 33 percent discount and the Deluxe Edition will be for sale with a 20 percent discount.

A new Call of Duty title is also going to be released some time this year, according to Activision, and it is being developed by Infinity Ward. They are probably most well-known for developing Call of Duty: Ghosts as well as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. It would make sense that this new, upcoming Call of Duty game would be a sequel to either one of those games, though it will probably be a sequel to Modern Warfare, which is certainly more popular than Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Gaming Trend gave a glowing review of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

“The question you’re here to answer is whether this game is worth your time and money. How would I describe it in a single word? Fantastic! If this is the kind of work a three-year development cycle can give a AAA game, then I don’t want to see Black Ops 4 until 2018, and counting down the days to its release.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops III was also the best-selling video game of 2015, the seventh consecutive year a Call of Duty title took the crown in North America. If you also happen to be a PC owner, you will be getting the Awakening Black Ops III DLC early next month. You might be able to purchase the Awakening DLC for just $14.99 alone, or you can always purchase it as part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass, which will run you about $49.99. The Season Pass includes four map packs and it offers a savings of $10 USD over individually buying each DLC pack. For this Awakening DLC to work properly, you’re going to need to install the February Black Ops III update, which fixes a lot of bugs with Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the twelfth game in the Call of Duty franchise, as well as the fourth entry in the Black Ops series.
