Kylie Jenner Says She Always Knew Caitlyn Jenner Was Transgender

By now, news that Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, is transgender is old hat. Even those that are intolerant of transgendered persons as a whole have at least come to accept that there’s no going back for Caitlyn. While it may have taken time for much of America to accept Bruce’s transformation into Caitlyn, there is one person for whom the news was less than surprising.

For Kylie Jenner, it hasn’t taken nearly as long to accept Caitlyn’s choice. In fact, Kylie says she knew all her life, so the big revelation that shocked the world came as no big surprise for Kylie.

Kylie Jenner Says She Always Knew Caitlyn Was Transgender

Kylie says adjusting to life with Caitlyn instead of Bruce hasn’t been quite as difficult as it might seem. She says a part of that is because Kylie finds she has much more in common with Caitlyn than Bruce. Ms. Jenner admits she didn’t always see eye-to-eye with Bruce, but Caitlyn is much more at ease and more understanding.

Also, Kylie says honesty is very important to her and living with Bruce’s secret was stressful for her.

“I mean, obviously I knew about it my whole life, but it was never admitted to and then it was all said and done,” said 18-year-old Kylie Jenner. “I honestly just wanted to not be lied to. I just wanted honesty and no secrets.”

Jenner adds that everyone is happier all around and that all stems from Caitlyn, who is now living the life she was meant to live. Kylie says she’s just happy not to be living with such a big secret in her life any longer.

Kylie Cosmetics Will Be A Full Line Of Beauty Products

Now that the secret’s out, Kylie can stop worrying about Caitlyn and concentrating on her own endeavors, which includes introducing her own line of beauty products. As a part of her cosmetics line, Kylie partnered with SinfulColors nail polish, even though nail polish wasn’t originally a part of Kylie Cosmetics. She has always endeavored to express herself through her nails, but lately Ms. Jenner reveals she prefers to keep them short. The practical benefits to short fingernails are endless, but Jenner says she just thinks long nails look weird.

Moving on to her make up, Kylie says she tries to limit how much she applies to her face, except when red carpet events call for full make up.

“I’ll do eyebrows, bronzer, and depending on whether or not I have lashes, I’ll maybe do mascara,” Kylie says of her day-to-day make up practices. “But sometimes not. And lipstick or a good sheer ChapStick.”

When asked what’s next for Kylie Cosmetics, Ms. Jenner is evasive and almost seems as though she’s keeping some secrets of her own. She says this is because she wants to keep tight reins on her cosmetics company, preferring that fans follow Kylie Cosmetics on Instagram to get news about her upcoming products. Ms. Jenner did reveal there would be new shades of lipstick coming up for release.

For her hair, Kylie prefers to wear wigs instead of styling and restyling her own hair, but she says that may even become problematic. Her tastes change so quickly that even she can’t keep up with her ever-growing collection of wigs.

“My wig guy probably hates me because I change my mind so many times. I’m like, ‘Can you make this full wig for me tomorrow?’ I make really last-minute decisions with my hair colors.”

Kylie is developing her own sense of self, as she grows into adulthood under Caitlyn Jenner’s watchful eye. The two seem to have a good relationship, so Caitlyn’s transformation may have had more than one positive effect on the Jenner family.
