Adele Steals Awards Show, Kissing Justin Bieber & Supporting Kesha: Shares Hilarious Lady Parts Names

Adele has made a triumphant return, both to the world of music and to the land where celebrities are on view for attention. Soaring to the top of both regions with a blend of musical success and delightful charm, Adele recently stole the show at the 2016 Brit Awards in London, reported Reuters.

Among the four trophies that Adele received was the highly desired “album of the year.” The event presents the biggest award ceremony for the British music industry, with world-renowned celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Rihanna making their presences known.

Although Adele’s 25 album has turned into 2015’s best-selling album, the fact that it was released in November made her ineligible for a Grammy nomination. But, the Brit Awards took care of her by honoring the album, which marks her return since her last album, 21, debuted four years ago.

“To come back after so long away and be so warmly received is really lovely – thank you so much,” said the appreciative Adele, who also received best British female, best British single, and the “BRITs Global Success” award as well.

Adele also faced up to the challenge of performing following her notably shaky singing at the Grammys. The singer rocked “When We Were Young,” stunning the audience with her glamorous gown and musical prowess.

In addition, Adele used the occasion to voice her support for Kesha, reported Harper’s Bazaar.

Choosing to share her spotlight for receiving the Brit Awards’ Best Solo Female Artist honor, Adele revealed her views on the lawsuit Kesha filed against Dr. Luke, her producer who she claims abused her while they worked together, and Sony.

In addition to the charges of verbal, physical and sexual abuse, Kesha asked that she be allowed to record with other labels while the lawsuit is pursued. The judge refused that request.

Among the celebrities who have been vocal about supporting Kesha, Adele spoke out even though she records for a Sony subsidiary.

“I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” said Adele at the end of her speech.

All of the above contributed to the reasons why Adele became the queen of the Brit Awards, reported Glamour.

In addition to her quartet of honors (British Female Artist, BRITs Global Success Award, British Single, and MasterCard British Album of The Year), Adele charmed with her candor. Almost falling over when she took to the stage for the Best British Single award for Hello, Adele didn’t try to disguise her near mishap.

“I nearly fell over!” she yelped.

In addition, Adele adorably expressed her appreciation for Simon Konecki, her boyfriend, when she earned the MasterCard British Album of the Year award.

“I’m going to embarrass you, sorry, [but I want to thank] my boyfriend. I’m so lucky to have you love me the way you do, and to support me… This album was really hard to make, and I think I was a nightmare sometimes, so thank you,” she gushed.

Acceptance speeches at award ceremonies typically include long lists of managers and publicists. But Adele kept hers personal in the cutest way possible, thanking her boyfriend for their 3-year-old son before expressing her love for the little boy.

“And thank you for our lovely son, who is the love of my life,” she said before speaking directly to the child. “This is all for you peanut, I love you so much.”

The Brit Awards also put to rest rumors that Justin Bieber and Adele were feuding, reported Us Weekly.

The singer gave Bieber a kiss on his cheek as she took to the stage to accept one of her awards. Rumors of the feud began when sound problems occurred during her Grammys performance. Twitter erupted with accusations that the problems were Justin’s fault. Not so, Adele revealed during her appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show.

“Some people thought it was [Justin] Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him,” Adele emphasized to Ellen. “We’re on great terms.”

The appearance on DeGeneres’ talk show also resulted in some hilarious revelations from Adele about her names for her lady parts, reported Self.

Ellen and Adele played “Five Second Rule,” and the singer had to come up with three lady parts names in a mere five seconds. No problem for Adele.

“Mini-moo, vajayjay, and pizza,” triumphed the singer.
