Is Miranda Lambert at war with the new girlfriend of her ex-husband? Although a source recently told E! News the 32-year-old country singer was thinking positively about her relationship with boyfriend Anderson East, another report claimed she was still hung up on Blake Shelton.
On the cover of this week’s OK! Magazine, a message reads, “Over After 125 Days: Gwen & Blake Split.” Below the headline, it is alleged that Miranda Lambert “destroyed their romance” by sending “viscous and spiteful” text messages to Gwen Stefani.

Inside the magazine, via Gossip Cop, a source claimed Stefani and Shelton “broke up after fighting about a serious of mean texts” sent by Miranda Lambert, one of which dissed her music career, which Lambert said ended in the ’90s.
“[Miranda Lambert] got ahold of Gwen’s cell-phone number and started calling, sometimes as many as four times in one day,” the source explained, adding that Miranda Lambert’s texts were coming from an unknown number.
Although the insider said Stefani didn’t respond to Miranda Lambert’s hidden phone number at first, she later “got annoyed and texted back, ‘Who is this, and how did you get my number?'” Then, after confronting Shelton about Miranda Lambert’s alleged messages, Gwen Stefani reportedly felt that he was “defending Miranda.”
In response to the shocking story, which seemed to have rumor written all over it, as Gwen Stefani and Shelton were seen just days ago at her son’s 2nd birthday, a source close to Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband said the story was “more garbage,” and Stefani’s rep deemed the report “false.”

Miranda Lambert divorced Blake Shelton in July 2015 after four years of marriage. Months later, Shelton moved on with Stefani, while Lambert moved on with Anderson East. However, in comparing the two relationships, fans can see the two pairs are very different. While Miranda Lambert and East seem to be living the country lifestyle as they tend to their nationwide appearances, Stefani and Shelton are often seen attending events in Los Angeles, and enjoying nights out with friends.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have also been far more open with their relationship in the press and on social media, as Miranda Lambert and East have only shared a couple of posts. That said, Miranda Lambert and East are said to be quite serious, and have already discussed the possibility of starting a family in the future.
“They both have discussed wanting kids one day,” a source told E! News earlier this month. “When they are both not on tour, they are with each other. They video chat or text and keep connected every day.”
In addition to keeping touch with one another as their careers continue, Miranda Lambert and East have reportedly taken time out to meet one another’s families, and East has gotten himself acquainted with Miranda Lambert’s many pets.
“Anderson loves all 15 of [Miranda Lambert]’s animals,” the insider shared. “They both are very into helping make a difference. Miranda is definitely in love with Anderson.”
Not only does Miranda Lambert have several animals of her own, she’s also opened an animal shelter, and continues to tweet and post photo updates about her love for all animals.
Another E! News report seemingly confirmed Miranda Lambert was not feuding with Stefani or Shelton, revealing she was glad “they are happy.”
“[Miranda Lambert] is in the best place of her life now and looking forward to the future!” the E! source added.
