Kim Kardashian Divorce: Kim And Kanye West Reportedly Headed To $1 Billion Divorce, Major Custody Battle Looming

Kim Kardashian is reportedly planning to divorce Kanye West, and sources say the two could be headed for a $1 billion split as well as bitter battle for custody of their two young children.

There have long been rumors that Kim and Kanye are in the midst of a major troubled patch in their marriage, to the point that divorce rumors have been popping up almost weekly. While many times they arise from the shadowy corners of the internet, this week the Kim Kardashian divorce rumor is actually coming from one of the largest celebrity news magazines — In Touch Weekly.

The outlet claims that Kim Kardashian kicked out her husband, reportedly the result of a 4 a.m. fight that tore them apart.

As Celeb Dirty Laundry hinted, it could be an uphill battle for Kanye West to gain custody of the couple’s two kids, North and Saint. He has exhibited some unhinged behavior lately, including some public meltdowns that will make it difficult to convince a judge he’s the best parent to care for the children.

“What has been interesting about Kanye’s West’s latest downward spiral is that the rapper’s entire breakdown has been pristinely documented across the internet – we have screenshots of his insane Twitter rampages, and there is even the tape of Kanye screaming obscenities and making NO sense behind the scenes at Saturday Night Life.

“Not to mention police reports from previous violent altercations in the past few years. Basically, Kanye doesn’t stand a chance at getting custody of North and Saint West. We’re not saying Kim is a good mom, but she is definitely a better looking parent on paper than Kanye West.”

Hollywood Life reported that the divorce could involve as much as $1 billion in assets and could tear apart the reality television and product empire that Kim and her Kardashian family created.

Often the Kim Kardashian divorce rumors appear flimsy. There are often reports that the couple is fighting or that one party or the other is overcome with jealousy, but these are usually based on anonymous comments or sometimes have no sources at all.

But it seems the latest rumors may have some grounding. On Thursday photographers spotted Kim without her wedding ring.

“Making a statement? Kim Kardashian left her wedding ring at home this week while out and about in L.A., fueling rumors of a divorce from Kanye West after his bizarre antics in recent weeks,” Radar Online noted.

The latest divorce rumor reportedly stem from a late-night fight just a few hours before Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and album release party in New York City on February 11. Sources said Kanye had a meltdown at the swanky Waldorf Astoria, screaming at hotel staffers.

The rapper yelled, “I am Kanye West and my wife is Kim f**king Kardashian,” a source told In Touch Weekly.

The source said that the tantrum left Kim Kardashian mortified and considering divorce.

“[Kim’s] embarrassed to no end over his gargantuan ego and ridiculous tweets,” the source says. “By the end of Fashion Week, she just wanted to crawl into a hole and hide.”

It seems that Kanye West’s bad behavior won’t stop, either. This week the rapper went on yet another Twitter tirade, this one directed at famed music producer Bob Ezrin after his critical review of Kanye’s new album, The Life of Pablo.

As In Touch Weekly noted, Ezrin mentioned other rappers including Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z, noting that Kanye doesn’t hold up.

“It’s unlikely that we’ll be quoting too many of Kanye’s songs 20 years from now […] Instead, Kanye’s greatest achievements have been in the form of excessive behavior, egomaniacal tantrums and tasteless grandstanding.”

Kanye, never one to back down from criticism, responded, “Has anybody ever heard of Bob Ezrin? What the f**k does he know about rap?”

Neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian have addressed the divorce rumors or the speculation that they could be headed for a big custody battle.
