Amazon Prime Instant Video on Sunday announced a new partnership agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, a partnership that brings The West Wing, Fringe and various other shows to the Prime Instant video catalog. Amazon Instant Videos now features more than 18,000 movies and TV shows and can be watched on various devices include PCs, Roku Players and even the Amazon Kindle Fire among other compatible devices.

Also included in the deal are popular cult following shows including Dark Blue, Alcatraz, and The Whole Truth.

Amazon Prime comes at a cost of $79 per year and includes free 2-day shipping on millions of Amazon items, the new deal with Warner Bros. comes with no additional costs to customers.

Speaking about the deal Brad Beale, director of digital video content acquisition for Amazon noted:

“Since launching Prime Instant Video, we’ve continued to expand both the quantity and quality of video content for our Prime members. Bringing Fringe and The West Wing – two shows with a devoted fan base – to Prime Instant Video first, is another way for us to add value for Prime members and to continue to give customers content they love.”

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution Ken Werner added:

“We are thrilled to count Amazon as a digital distribution outlet for our television group.
