David Foster And Yolanda Hadid Divorce: Here’s Why He Is Staying Away From ‘RHOBH’

David Foster filmed a few scenes for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last year, but he has been rather absent from this current season. On the day of the premiere last November, Yolanda announced that she was divorcing Foster, and fans were shocked. It was so sudden that no one predicted that David would leave his wife behind. The two have announced that they were divorcing amicably, but many people are wondering what tore them apart. According to a new Radar Online report, David Foster is not a part of the show this season, as the producers wanted to exploit the divorce.

“Producers wanted to exploit Yolanda’s divorce from David for ratings. There hasn’t been a lot of drama this season, and fans love Yolanda. But Yolanda and David have a very strict prenuptial agreement that says they can’t discuss each other negatively in any public setting…including television,” a source has revealed to the magazine.

“Yolanda and David discussed the importance of handling the proceedings with dignity and class soon after she filed,” the insider continued, adding, “So she refuses to speak badly about him on the show. Of course she is saddened by the end of the marriage, but she won’t allow the intimate details of what led to the breakdown of the relationships to become public fodder.”

It is definitely interesting to learn that Yolanda was the one who filed for divorce from David Foster. Maybe they agreed that she would file instead of David, as she didn’t want Foster to be slammed in the media for divorcing her when she was sick. It may have been a team effort so David Foster could get out of the marriage in a positive manner. While Yolanda has talked a bit about David on social media, he only spoke out about the false reports last year, according to Us Weekly.

“Over the past few weeks, a great deal of inaccurate or baseless information has been reported claiming to represent my thoughts and feelings,” David Foster has revealed, adding, “It is painful to watch this happen repeatedly — especially while trying to cope with the personal nature of the challenges surrounding the breakup of our loving marriage. I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda, which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness. I have been by Yolanda’s side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis.”

There have been plenty of reports about David’s financial contributions to her illness. He didn’t reveal how much he was contributing to her treatments, but it sounds like they still have a great relationship. While David Foster doesn’t post pictures of himself with his ex-wife, he recently went to support her kids at several fashion shows. Plus, David is a huge supporter of Hadid’s mission to find a cure.

“I am incredibly proud of Yolanda’s determination and mission to find a cure, and how brave and open she has been by sharing her story in the hopes of changing the future for others,” Foster revealed to Us Weekly.

And David Foster’s disappointment in various reports could have something to do with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies. According to Bravo, the ladies start questioning David and Yolanda’s marriage later this season when they learn about the divorce. In the preview for the upcoming season, Lisa Vanderpump questions the divorce, revealing that Hadid may have been blindsided by the divorce.
