Khloe Kardashian Explains Why She Hasn’t Watched ‘The People V. O.J. Simpson’ Yet

Khloe Kardashian feels bad for Uncle O.J.’s kids. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star says that is just one of the reasons she hasn’t been able to bring herself to watch FX’s miniseries The People v. O’J. Simpson. The series rehashes O.J. Simpson’s 1995 trial for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, and it features Khloe’s parents, Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner, as a main characters because her father was a member of the former football pro’s legal “dream team.” A young Khloe and her siblings are even portrayed in the series.

In a new clip from her FYI talk show Kocktails With Khloe, Khloe Kardashian tells guests Carmen Electra and Ross Matthews that she does plan to watch the controversial series, but that she has some reservations about it. Khloe says that she feels especially bad for Simpson’s children, Sydney and Justin, who are now having to relive their mother’s murder all over again. Khloe Kardashian also adds that she used to call Simpson “Uncle O.J.”

I’m not their child. I more felt bad for the kids, Sydney and Justin. I’m like, how f***ked up that they… You’ll never get over your mom being murdered, and now they have to be stalked with paparazzi again?

While Khloe says she has recorded The People v. O.J. Simpson series, she admits she’s afraid to see how her father is being portrayed on the FX hit. Friends alum David Schwimmer plays her late father on the miniseries, while actress Selma Blair plays her mother. Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner were at one time best friends with O.J. and Nicole. Khloe says that the renewed interest in the case has had her missing the sound of her dad’s voice. Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003, eight weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer.

It’s interesting that Khloe Kardashian brought up the O.J. miniseries, and the fact that her she feels most bad for Simpson’s children. For years, there have been tabloid stories that Khloe, who lacks her other siblings’ Armenian features and is much taller than her two sisters, Kourtney and Kim, is not the biological child of Robert and instead could be the child of O.J. Simpson.

In previous interviews, Kris Jenner has slammed the paternity stories, explaining that when she was pregnant with Khloe the family had hoped for a boy, but when the baby was born she looked identical to Robert Kardashian’s mother and the entire family was thrilled. Still, in a scathing interview with In Touch weekly, Simpson’s longtime manager Norman Pardo admitted Khloe could be O.J.’s child. He even said Simpson “giggles” whenever the subject of Khloe Kardashian’s paternity is brought up.

It’s all going to come out sooner or later. Khloe could be O.J.’s kid. They all took their vacations together. There was a lot of partying going on back then. Kris cheated on Robert — she was known for having a good time.

While Kris Jenner dish in her 2011 autobiography that she routinely cheated on her first husband, she slammed rumors her Khloe was not fathered by Robert Kardashian. In a 2012 interview with Good Morning America, Jenner said she’s positive Khloe is a Kardashian.

I have never heard such crap in my life. I was there, right? I gave birth, I know who the dad was. Everything’s good. We’re all good. It’s the family joke because Khloe was blond and not dark-haired. People just … get a life.
