Caila Quinn Prepping For Next ‘Bachelorette,’ Not Interested In ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins?
Bachelor contestant Caila Quinn introduces Ben Higgins to her family during the hometown dates episode on Monday, February 22. While Caila is not a strong frontrunner like JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell, she has continued to move forward week after week.
However, there is a buzz among Bachelor fans that producers are keeping Caila on the show because she is a top contender to become the next Bachelorette. Does Caila really have her heart set to become the next Mrs. Higgins or is she more interested in landing the gig as the leading lady on ABC’s popular reality TV show?

According to ABC, Ben will have a fun date with Caila in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio, but things get a little stressful when he meets her father — he doesn’t seem to think Ben is worthy of his daughter.
However, this theme seems to ring true on all of Ben’s hometown dates — even Lauren Bushnell’s dad questions their rushed relationship and Amanda’s father wonders if Ben is ready to be an instant stepdad. And, take a look at JoJo’s brothers in the video below — they really give Ben a hard time.

Despite the tough time Ben gets from the families, it doesn’t seem to phase him when it comes to choosing who he will continue on to the overnight dates with. It will come as no surprise to viewers when JoJo and Lauren get a rose, but when he picks Caila over Amanda at the post-hometown rose ceremony, some fans may wonder why he made the decision to keep Caila for another week.
According to Reality Steve, Caila won’t be as lucky in the coming week. After spending the night in the Fantasy Suite on Episode 8 (February 29), Ben decides to send her home and keep JoJo and Lauren as his final two picks.
The people behind the scenes of the Bachelor franchise typically pick a contestant who is one of the Bachelor’s top four, so that means the girls who went to hometowns — Caila, JoJo, Lauren, and Amanda — all have a shot.
However, Steve is confident that his spoilers are correct; Lauren B. will get the final rose and JoJo will be the runner-up. That leaves Amanda and Caila in the running to become the next Bachelorette.
Although many fans told Mike Fleiss, the show’s creator, that they would like to see Becca Tilley get the gig, Steve does not think that will happen. Instead, he feels that Caila may have a good shot, especially because Fleiss admitted to Us Weekly that they may pick a “non-white” lead for the upcoming season.
@fleissmeister BECCA!! Hands down!! @beccatilley5 is one of the most, if not THE MOST genuine people y’all ever cast. She deserved the best!

@fleissmeister Becca Tilley for #Bachelorette!! Being a virgin in today’s world is diverse enough!! her! No Caila, she’s so boring!

@fleissmeister Totally Becca! She knows what she wants, and #BachelorNation wants to see her get her guy! #BeccaforBachelorette

If the network is going to showcase a “non-white” Bachelorette, what about former contestants Jubilee Sharpe, Amber James or Jami Letain for the role? According to Reality Steve, that’s “not happening” because all three girls left too early in the season.
If Mike Fleiss makes good on his promise to bring on a diverse lead, fans may see host Chris Harrison introduce Caila, who is half-Filipino, as the next Bachelorette during the After the Final Rose special on March 14.
Is this what Caila wanted from the start, or do you think she came on the Bachelor to find love with Ben Higgins?
