‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel May Have Found A New Man, But Is He Married?

Bethenny Frankel has been more than active in the dating world in the past few months. Now, it appears as though the Real Housewives of New York star may have found herself a new man. The only problem with Frankel’s newest romance is that her boyfriend is already a married man.

According to Page Six, Frankel is currently involved with Dennis Shields, a chairman for Esquire Bank in New York. Apparently, Frankel and Shields have been friends for a long time, and now their friendship has grown into something more romantic as of late.

“Bethenny and Dennis have been friends for 27 years — and she did throw him a birthday party… Bethenny and Dennis’ soon-to-be-ex-wife have a long history.”

Although a rep for Frankel has since said that the reality star is “enjoying being single,” Shields has wanted to get with the Skinnygirl creator for quite some time now. “He’s had feelings for Bethenny for a long time,” the insider continued.

At this point, the exact nature of Frankel’s relationship with Shields is unknown. While the insider admitted that the two are “just friends,” it will be interesting to see if they are truly romantically involved, especially considering his marriage.

If Frankel really is dating a married man, then it will only be another source of controversy for the business mogul as the Real Housewives of New York gears up for its 8th season. As fans will recall, part of this controversy involves a heated dispute between Frankel and Sonja Morgan, who recently launched her line of alcoholic beverages, called Tipsy Girl.

According to Reality Tea, Bethenny Frankel was disgruntled because Morgan’s new line is in direct competition to her own Skinnygirl cocktails. However, Morgan is apparently willing to change the name of her company, and the similarity in names was only a coincidence.

“I have to do something about the name,” Morgan stated during an appearance on Kocktails with Khloe. “My girlfriend Bethenny wasn’t thrilled with that.”

Morgan went on to explain how her decision to name her new product Tipsy Girl had nothing to do with Frankel and her Skinnygirl franchise. According to Morgan, it wasn’t until Frankel spoke up that she made the connection.

“It didn’t hit me, and then Bethenny was like, ‘Uh, I don’t like that.’ And I was like, ‘Oops, OK. We need to go back to the drawing board and figure something out that doesn’t come between my friendship. You know, I love the name, and I want to work,” she shared.

Given their dispute in the business world, the feud between Frankel and Morgan is likely to surface in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York. According to Reality Tea, her fight with Morgan isn’t the only drama Frankel will be involved with in the new year.

Although she left out the details, Frankel promised fans that she will be in the thick of things in the new season. “Yes. I am back [this season], and it is spicy. You know last year, I had my ‘new car smell’ still on me. And I wasn’t getting into too much trouble. This season, I am knee-deep in the mud,” she explained to the outlet.

In addition to her battle with Morgan and dating life, part of this controversy will likely involve Frankel’s ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. Despite fighting things out in court over the past year, Frankel and Hoppy have yet to officially conclude their messy divorce.

The Real Housewives of New York is set to return to television in the spring of 2016.
