Three people are dead due to religious rioting in southern India after some jackass threw a pig.

More than a dozen people were hurt in the rioting, which stems from an the incident where a dead pig was tossed into an under-construction mosque. (Some reports say it was a school.)

Upon discovery of the offending swine, an angry mob convened and got all stabby. Three people have died so far, including a 15-year-old kid. Tear gas, “bamboo sticks” and random shooting has quelled the tantrums outbreaks for the time being, and crowds larger than five have been temporarily banned from gathering.
