Kylie Jenner Lip Kits: ‘KUWTK’ Teases New Shade, Restock Announced

Ahead of her 18th birthday, Kylie Jenner received lip injections, and ever since, she has become known for her plump pout.

Although Kylie Jenner played coy about her suddenly bigger lips years ago, she eventually admitted to getting temporary fillers during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. During a cast confessional, Kylie Jenner revealed her lips were one of her major insecurities, and said that while her mother, Kris Jenner, was against the idea at first, she eventually allowed her to get plumped up.

During interviews before her confession, Kylie Jenner regularly addressed the rumors about her potentially fake lips, claiming she’s never been under the knife, and hadn’t had surgery. Later, she explained that because her fillers were temporary, and she didn’t deny them specifically, she allegedly didn’t lie to fans.

Whatever the case, Kylie Jenner’s lips have made their mark, and people all over the globe have been doing their best to get their hands on one of Kylie Jenner’s lip kits. However, there doesn’t appear to be enough to go around. Of Kylie Jenner’s six kits, there is not one available for purchase through her website, and the next restock won’t take place until later this month, as her Instagram page recently announced.

“We have about a week left until the next restock so everyone please be patient and I’ll be posting the release date and time on my Kylie App in the next few days,” Kylie Jenner wrote on the official Instagram account for her Cosmetics on February 19.

In addition to the returning lip kits, which include colors Koko K, Mary Jo K, Posie K, Candy K, True Brown K and Dolce K, Kylie Jenner recently teased a new shade, which her longtime friend, Jordyn Woods, was seen wearing during New York Fashion Week.

As for her ongoing beauty routine, Kylie Jenner recently revealed she’s still getting injections, and has taken a liking to a more natural look.

“I still do Juvéderm for my lips. I go to [Dr. Simon Ourian] in Beverly Hills,” Kylie Jenner revealed to the New York Times. “He’s the best, and he’s super natural about it. I was going to somebody before, and it was just looking crazy. I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months. It’s annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it.”

Kylie Jenner went on to reveal her makeup preference.

“If I’m going to see people, I won’t wear heavy makeup. It’s not attractive on me,” she said. “When you see those pictures on my Instagram, they are usually for when I’m doing a photo shoot or an interview. Every time I get my makeup professionally done, I take a photo. I used to be obsessed with heavy lashes, but now I just want to find something super clean and light.”

As Kylie Jenner’s lip kit success continues, her older sister, Kendall Jenner, may be ready to follow in her footsteps with her very own Estée Lauder Eyeshadow Palette. According to a February 18 report by Cosmopolitan, Kendall’s new shadows will hit Sephora stores on March 15 and will retail for $48.
