Miley Cyrus Married Liam Hemsworth In Secret Ceremony, But Her Family Didn’t Attend?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are said to have recently wed in Australia, but unfortunately, Miley Cyrus’ family was unable to make the trip. According to a new report, the recently-reunited pair tied the knot in a beach ceremony, surrounded by members of Hemsworth’s family, while Miley Cyrus’ parents and siblings remained in Los Angeles.

“It was so last minute, her family couldn’t make it,” a source told Life & Style, according to a February 17 report by Hollywood Life.

Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth have only been back together for a short time, but the magazine’s source claimed the couple simply couldn’t wait to wed — regardless of who was or wasn’t there to see it happen.

“It was very emotional,” the source continued of the ceremony. “They both said a few words on the spot and then Liam asked everyone in his family to hold a candle. He and Miley lit each one, saying it represented the eternal flame of their love.”

Now that they have reportedly wed, Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth are set to embark on a romantic honeymoon in Europe.

“Liam has promised to take [Miley Cyrus] on the honeymoon of her dreams,” a source told the magazine. “They’re planning a European adventure later this spring. They want to visit volcanoes in Iceland and then make their way to Paris, followed by Italy. It will be a month-long getaway.”

In addition to the wedding news, Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth may soon have baby news to reveal. While Miley Cyrus isn’t believed to be pregnant at this time, a second report weeks ago claimed the couple was planning to start a family after they wed.

“[Miley Cyrus] and Liam aren’t just back together — they’re seriously planning marriage and a family,” an insider told Life & Style last month, according to Hollywood Life. “[Miley Cyrus] wants to start trying to have a baby as soon as they are married, if not before.”

According to the report, Miley Cyrus has spoken to friends about her plan to go off birth control “soon,” and hopes to make her rumored new husband really happy by giving him a child. Even prior to the couple’s breakup years ago, they spoke of their desire to start a family, and to do so right after their wedding.

Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth began their relationship in 2009 after meeting on the set of The Last Song. Three years later, in June, 2012, Miley Cyrus announced she and Hemsworth were engaged, but unfortunately, their wedding plans came to a quick halt just one year later.

After spending a couple of years apart, at which point Miley Cyrus was linked to a number of men, including Patrick Schwarzenegger and rapper Mike Will Made It, the former Hannah Montana actress rekindled her romance with Hemsworth, and by last month, they became re-engaged.

On January 21, a People Magazine source confirmed the couple’s relationship was back on, but stated that they were keeping things to themselves, at least at that point, as they continued to figure out where they stood with one another. While Miley Cyrus was said to be beyond happy about the reconciliation, fans shouldn’t expect their romance to be splattered all over her social media pages. Instead, she and her possible husband have reportedly agreed to keep things on the down low.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have yet to speak out about their reported wedding.
