Harry Styles And Zayn Malik: Going All The Right Places, Seeing All The Right People, Just Not Each Other

Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are being seen around some of the most famous people in Hollywood. Harry has been talking to classic rock musicians like Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Joe Walsh. Zayn has been hanging out with R&B and rap artists, but there have been some people they both see. Still, Styles and Malik seem adept at avoiding each other without appearing to shun each other.

Harry Styles and Zayn Malik were both invited to Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Celebration and both attended, but they never spoke to each other the entire evening, Seventeen explains. It seems that Zayn left just before Harry arrived. Harry skipped the red carpet event, and went to the pre-Grammy party late. Zayn went early. Could this be more than just a coincidence? After the Grammy Awards, Zayn, still alone, attended an after party hosted by Puff Daddy and Rihanna. Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian were both at the gathering. Styles seems to be avoiding all the Kardashians.

Oddly though, the more Harry Styles and Zayn Malik try to avoid each other, the more their lives mirror each other. Both went to the pre and after Grammy parties alone, though Harry certainly did not leave alone. Zayn has a regular girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, but left her on her own Grammy night, attending all the events solo, as reported by Daily Mail. There is no word on whether he hooked up at any of the parties, but if he did, he must have been discrete. Harry was spotted and caught on video, leaving one huge gathering with a beautiful girl on his arm. There is no information on who she is, but he may have met her for the first time at the event.

Both Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are trying to promote their careers. Suddenly, every event is an opportunity to network, make new contacts, and gain advantageous friendships. Bringing a date might be fun, but unless the girl understands the agenda perfectly, her presence could make networking difficult.

While Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are both courting various associations, the people they are seeking out seem to be different. Harry is going old school, by looking to rock and roll royalty. He is cultivating friendships with Elton John, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and Paul McCartney. He also seems to be avoiding anyone even remotely associated with the Kardashians and Jenners. He also seems to be avoiding old band mates. Zayn Malik is on more of an R&B track, seeking out performers with music similar to his own.

Of course, Harry Styles has not forgotten who the real VIPs are. He always takes time for his fans, no matter how busy he gets.

Harry plans to emulate Paul McCartney in his own career, while Zayn’s own music has a soulful R&B sound. Both are attempting to develop a circle of colleagues. As for Harry avoiding the Kardashian family, it is unclear whether he is doing this for career or personal reasons. Perhaps there is a little of both.

While Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are doing everything for a reason now, one has to wonder how they actually feel about all the people they are seeking out and especially about distancing themselves from former band mates and other formerly close friends. We all remember that Harry cried when Zayn left the band. How does he feel now, a year later? Why do they avoid each other? Hopefully it is strategic in some way, rather than personal.
