Katie Holmes Allegedly Banned Designer Clothes, Heels And Lipstick From Suri’s Life – Claims Tom Cruise ‘Masterminded’ Her Stylish Look

Katie Holmes has allegedly banned designer clothes, lipstick and high heels from daughter Suri’s wardrobe. A Holmes source speaking with Reveal magazine claims Tom Cruise was the “mastermind” behind 6-year-old Suri’s fashion sense and Katie want a “more age-appropriate” look for the child. Katie Holmes allegedly enrolled Suri in the Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic school, which requires students wear uniforms. Suri was home-schooled before the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes split.

Holmes has also reportedly asked that Suri’s name be removed from “freebie”fashion house, designer and salon lists. The soon-to-be single mom wants Suri to have a “normal” childhood, according to the Huffington Post. Reveal magazine also maintains that the high heels Suri has often been photographed in will no longer be donning the child’s small feet when she is with her mommy.

“Katie has been returning unsolicited gifts and loans from designers for Suri since she arrived in New York. She’s issued instructions to remove Suri from all freebie lists. She’s also put the word out in LA to stop any mini-me diva products being sent her way. Tom loved to spoil Suri and indulge her, but Katie has other ideas,” the Holmes source told Reveal.

Comments and controversy about Suri Cruise’s alleged beyond-her-years look has made headlines since the little girl was a toddler. Paparazzi have snapped many photos of little Suri wearing lipstick and heels for the past several years, The Daily Mail notes. Last year photos of Suri rushing to a gymnastics class wearing red lipstick, eye shadow and heels caused a flurry of negative comments about the glamorized looks of such a young girl.

Suri was first photographed wearing lipstick when she was 3-years-old. The Daily Mail also notes that Tom Cruise’s daughter is rumored to have more than 130 pairs of shoes- man of which were custom made.
