Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Are Married? Couple Tied The Knot In Secret Beach Wedding [Report]
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their romance weeks ago, and now, a source claims the pair has tied the knot in a secret beach ceremony in Australia. According to a new report, the couple, who parted ways in September, 2013, after becoming engaged the year prior, recently tied the knot in secret, and sadly, Miley Cyrus’ family didn’t show up.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth held a “secret sunset wedding ceremony over the winter holidays,” a source revealed to Life & Style magazine, via a February 17 report by Hollywood Life. They “have told close friends that they’re already married. It was a spur-of-the-moment. Now they both refer to each other as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband.’ ”
In recent years, Miley Cyrus has become known for her wild choices and questionable behavior, but apparently, claimed the magazine’s source, their quicky wedding in Australia was all courtesy of Hemsworth, who was said to have gotten the idea to quickly tie the knot during a visit to his home country with Miley Cyrus in December.
“He corralled his brothers [Chris Hemsworth, 32, and Luke Hemsworth, 35] and tipped them off that he wanted to stage a surprise ceremony during [Miley Cyrus]’s visit,” the source alleged, and when Miley Cyrus discovered the plan, she was reportedly “all in.”
In addition to having assistance from his brothers, Hemsworth also enlisted his sister-in-law, actress Elsa Pataky, 29, the wife of Chris, to be the “unofficial matron of honor,” according to Life & Style, and aside from her ceremonial duties, she reportedly even lent Miley Cyrus a “simple frock” before they joined Hemsworth and his brothers on the beach.
“Liam choked up as he began describing his love for [Miley Cyrus],” the source said. “Then Miley started crying, too. It was very emotional.”
Later, “Liam asked everyone in his family to a candle,” the source said, and they “lit each one, saying it represented the eternal flame of their love.” Then, after the ceremony, Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth exchanged “wedding bands that had been fashioned from palm fronds.”
Currently, noted the magazine’s source, Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth aren’t legally wed, but after their secret beach ceremony, they are expected to make their marriage official sometime next month.

Following their reconciliation weeks ago, Miley Cyrus began wearing a suspicious diamond ring, which seemingly confirmed her engagement to Hemsworth was back on, and a short time later, a source close to Miley Cyrus confirmed the news to People Magazine. At the time, the source stated that Miley Cyrus was “beyond happy” to be back in the arms of Hemsworth, and planning to tie the knot once again.

The magazine’s report went on to reveal that last time around, Hemsworth wasn’t a fan of how exposed his relationship with Miley Cyrus was in the media, and because of that, the couple was being more secretive about their romance in recent months. In fact, said the source, the two were in touch for months prior to their public reunion, but wanted to take things slow, and be more low-key before they made their reconciliation official with the public.
Although Hemsworth’s family was allegedly hesitant in the past in regard to his engagement to Miley Cyrus, the source revealed they had gotten to know her much better during a recent trip to Australia, and once they did, everyone was far more excited to see them back on.
