Honey Boo Boo Gets Her Own Show On TLC [Video]
Honey Boo Boo Child is getting her own TV show. Alana Thompson, who gained fame on Toddlers and Tiaras by shouting catchphrases like “honey boo boo child,” “a dolla makes me holla,” and drinking her special “go go juice,” has just lander her own show on TLC.
According to Manolith, Here Come’s Honey Boo Boo will hit the airwaves next month on TLC. The show will center around Alana Thompson, but will also feature her redneck family. (By the way, I’m not saying that as an insult. In the new trailer the family agrees that they are indeed rednecks. But thankfully, they all have their teeth.)
Honey Boo Boo and her mom caused a little bit of controversy last year and the world found out what was in the child’s “go go juice.” Alana’s mother would give her a special mix of Mountain Dew, Red Bull, and any other sugary drink that was in arms reach to give her daughter a little extra boost before the competition.
June Shannon, defended the energy drink, saying:
“There are normal people who give their kids this. Why is it such a big issue with us pageant moms that do it all weekend to keep our kids energized and awake? There are far worse things… I could be giving her alcohol.”

I couldn't stand watching them when they appeared on Toddlers and Tiara's….the mother was obnoxious and unfortunately it has trickled down to the daughter…..they are loud and obnoxious and seem to be very uneducated…..Pagents are about poise and beauty and they portray neither…….I don't understand how they got their own show…..I will not be watching this crap.

I can't watch that show-I saw it a few times and couldn't take it anymore-it's a train wreck. I guess I missed this lovely mother and child duo. Good lord-this is upsetting!

Her mother is a pig and what kind of father lifts his t-shirt and shakes his fat gut for the camera (a filthy t-shirt at that) DCFS needs to do something. It's sickening that these idiots will be handed a bunch of cash for parading this child around….but I'm sure they'll put it into a college fund for this little girl..right?
Ah, never mind, she'll most likely need the cash in 7 years when she's pregnant. Harsh, I know…i'm blaming the parents (using the term parents lightly), not the child. At least now I can see where my tax dollars have gone, to clog the arteries of these two pigs.

TLC is scrapping the bottom of the barrel with this one. It is ludicrous and makes you embarassed to be from the south! SO sick of even seeing the commercials for this show. People will actually WATCH this mess?

I wonder if anyone is paying real attention to the words and actions of this little girl. She seems to have some sort of mental deficit and I don't think the parents are aware enough to recognize that there may be a problem. This family needs a medical assessment not a reality TV show. HELLO!
