New clues in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case have come to light in a book written by former police detective Jim Kolar. One of the investigators on the 1996 JonBenet Ramsey case is now making public two clues which he feels could help close the tragic and high-profile case of the little beauty pageant queen’s death.

Kolar claims a piece of a toy and a cobweb as shown on a videotape taken the day after JonBenet’s death convinces him that the theory of an intruder in the home was not a possibility, Radar Online reports.

Kolar stated during an interview with The Daily Beast a large triangular cobweb in the basement window would have been disturbed if not entirely torn down if an intruder had actually entered the home and murdered JonBenet Ramsey.

The former police detective also claims a toy found in the basement explains the two “mysterious abrasions” present on the back of JonBenet’s body.

Former detective Kolar tosses out the often touted theory in the weeks following the Ramsey murder that a stun gun held in police custody was actually the cause of the markings on JonBenet.

Kolar claims the measurements from the stun gun and the abrasions on the back of JonBenet do not match. He is now stating the toy shown on the crime scene video tape likely made the the abrasions.

The JonBenet Ramsey evidence revelations are the focus of Kolar’s book – “Foreign Faction: Who Really Kidnapped JonBenet Ramsey?” The former law enforcement officer began working on the JonBenet Ramsey book in 2004 using case materials to reconstruct the crime and investigation for readers. Kolar had “full access” to Ramsey interviews, crime-scene photos, forensic reports, grand-jury records and videos, Radar Online reports.
