Kylie Jenner Signs Million Dollar Puma Deal, Despite Kanye West’s Claims That She Would Not

Kylie Jenner’s brother-in-law Kanye West took to Twitter earlier this month, where he proclaimed “100 percent” that Kylie Jenner would never work with Puma. During what turned out to be an elaborate rant about Bill Cosby, his clothing line, and a possible feud with Michael Jordan, West announced that Kylie Jenner would not be accepting Puma’s collaboration offer. The rapper also told his followers he would be giving the brand back their “measly” $1 million.

West then suggested that Puma had attempted to “divide” his family.

Days later, Kylie Jenner, who previously took part in West’s fashion week show, was noticeably absent from the model lineup, as her sister, Kendall Jenner, was awarded a spot. While Kylie Jenner did show her support by sitting with her family in the audience of the Madison Square Garden presentation, many were left wondering why she wasn’t included this time around.

Although West didn’t go into any detail as to how Puma allegedly attempted to divide his family, he was likely referring to the brand’s competition with a brand he’s tied to, Adidas. Either way, Kylie Jenner didn’t seem to have anything to do with his tweets and has since signed on as Puma’s brand advocate.

As part of her deal, Kylie Jenner will “support specific PUMA products through campaigns and her own personal social outlets,” reported Nice Kicks on February 15. The site added that “photoshoots with Kylie have already taken place.”

A second report by Power 105.1 claimed Kylie Jenner would also have her own tennis shoe with the brand.

Clearly, there’s been some kind of disconnect between Kylie Jenner and her sister Kim’s husband, West, but it’s hard to say whether or not the two Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars are in any sort of feud. If they were, however, it wouldn’t be the only family feud Kylie Jenner is currently involved in.

Earlier this year, after Rob Kardashian debuted his new relationship with Blac Chyna, the mother of Kylie’s boyfriend’s child, Kylie Jenner took to Instagram, where she slammed Rob as a devil and spoke of disowning her brother.

In other Kylie Jenner news, the reality star and her boyfriend continue to be plagued by cheating rumors and on-screen drama on her family’s reality show. Since late last year, Kylie Jenner’s relationship with Tyga has been up and down, and this year, as he’s faced with new rumors, not much has changed. In fact, on this week’s episode of the show, Kylie Jenner will be seen as she breaks down after learning her on-again-off-again boyfriend has been invited to her sister’s upcoming party.

Meanwhile, off-screen, Kylie Jenner and Tyga appear to be back on, and recently celebrated the Valentine’s Day holiday with one another in New York City. Around the same time, the couple were spotted hitting up a nightclub with Scott Disick, the former boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, who is rumored to have recently suffered an alcohol relapse.
