Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ Returns To Hot 100 No. 1, ‘Company’ Is Next Single

Justin Bieber is the re-crowned king of Billboard after notching a second non-consecutive week No. 1 on the Hot 100 singles chart with “Love Yourself,” while last week’s No. 1 debut, Zayn’s “Pillowtalk,” tumbles to No. 7.

The song, an acoustic kiss-off to a former lover, was written by Bieber and Ed Sheeran. “Love Yourself” first topped the Hot 100 two weeks ago, displacing Bieber’s “Sorry.”

It also hit No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart and is the 21-year-old superstar’s second Radio Songs No. 1. Details on the songs movements on Billboard’s component charts can be read here.

At No. 2 on the chart is Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out.” Then, it’s Bieber again as “Sorry” takes the No. 3 spot, after residing at No. l for three weeks. Bajan queen, Rihanna’s “Work,” which features guest rapper Drake, shoots up to No. 4 from No. 7 following its hot shot debut last week.

Rounding out the Hot 100’s top five, Flo Rida’s “My House” falls from No. 8 to No. 5. Adele’s “Hello” shuffles to No. 6 after her 10-week reign at No. 1, while Zayn’s “Pillowtalk” descends from No. l to 7 after debuting atop the chart. Billboard notes that fall is the biggest slide from No. 1 on the Hot 100 in over five years.

G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself & I” punches up to No. 8 from No. 10; The Chainsmokers “Roses,” featuring Rozes, stays at No. 9; while Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” is back to No. 10 from No. 11, peaking at No. 4. So, to recap: Bieber’s “Love Yourself” has knocked Zayn from No. 1 on the Hot 100.

Meanwhile, “Company” is looking likely as Justin Bieber’s follow-up single once “Love Yourself” wanes for good. The news isn’t official, but multiple radio professionals were tipped by Def Jam’s promotional team last week.

As a result, Headline Planet are reporting the slinky R&B mid-tempo is strongly hinted as the next single.

“Sorry,” “Love Yourself,” and “Company” are all singles from Bieber’s record-breaking, critically acclaimed Purpose album. They followed the lead single “What Do You Mean?” which dropped on August 28 last year.

“Love Yourself” holds for a third straight week atop the Mediabase pop airplay chart, and has progressed to the top 5 on other radio formats. To date, “Company” has sold 55,052 copies in the U.S., Headline Planet reveals.

The song is very popular among Justin Bieber fans, many of whom have been tweeting their excitement over the apparent choice of “Company” as the 21-year-old superstar’s fourth single.

The last few days have been historic for the Canadian. The singer won his first ever Grammy with Jack Ü’s Skrillex and Diplo for their collaborative chart slayer, “Where Are Ü Now.”

The trio triumphed in strong field, which included Flying Lotus, The Chemical Brothers, As Above and Beyond, and Galantis.

The mini supergroup also performed a rocky, much more percussive version of “Where,” after Bieber kicked off with a solo performance of “Love Yourself” and self-accompanying on acoustic guitar.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards took place at The Staples Center on Monday, February 15. Bieber partied at The Nice Guy hot spot in West Hollywood after the ceremony, and stopped at 1Oak. The singer and his friends ended up at The Weeknd’s birthday party at a house in Beverly Hills.
