Kylie Jenner Puma Deal Confirmed As Jenner Celebrates Valentine’s Day In New York City [Video]

Looks like Kylie Jenner just got a $1 million richer. Despite Kanye’s rants, a deal between Puma and Jenner has been confirmed by website Nice Kicks, and photos have already taken place. While Kylie won’t have her own collection like Rihanna, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star will support the brand in their social media campaigns and be the face of Puma.

Just last week, magazine Us Weekly broke the news that Kylie had inked a seven-figure deal with the apparel giant. Jenner herself shared a cryptic but reportedly telling Instagram image of a puppy lying in the sun, along with the caption, “Mood.” Some news outlets took the picture as an announcement that Jenner was giddy over the deal with Puma.

Later, Kylie removed the photo, spurring brother-in-law Kanye West to blurt out several posts over Twitter that indicated he was anything but happy with Kylie Jenner’s new partnership. West, who has deals with Adidas and is the owner of his own label, Yeezy, declared over Twitter that “we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!!”

West also advised the sneaker brand to “[n]ever try to divide the family!!!,” indicating that the deal had the potential to set the Jenner clan against each other. In another tweet, Kanye asserted that “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That’s on my family!” West also insisted that “1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!,” and indeed, at the Yeezy Season 3 launch party during Fashion Week in New York City last week, Kylie was spotted wearing Yeezy clothing.

Kanye also shared a comical tweet that featured the leaping icon of the Puma brand, along with spray painted writing claiming “Kylie was here.”

The Twitter rant is rumored to have caused a rift between Kim Kardashian’s husband and her mother, Kris Jenner, who was “completely livid” that Kanye tried to ruin the deal between Kylie and Puma, a source close to Jenner revealed to Radar Online. According to the insider, “Kris worked on that deal” between Kylie and Puma, and doesn’t want anything to stand in the way of it going down.

A smackdown between the momager and her son-in-law reportedly took place, with Kris reminding Kanye that she is “the boss in the family and has a hand in all of her children’s endorsements,” the insider revealed, adding that Kris “told him that she decides which deals her daughters do and not him.”

Although the tweets “really pissed her off,” the deal is still on for Kylie. While Kylie won’t have a partnership with Puma that is “full out like Rihanna’s collaboration,” all signs point to an endorsement deal between Jenner and the retailer. Rihanna showed her Fenty x Puma line at New York Fashion Week last week.

According to Nice Kicks, “[t]oday at Agenda Las Vegas, while stopping by the PUMA booth at Liberty Fairs, we were able to confirm that the Kylie Jenner PUMA partnership is in fact a go,” and Jenner will be the new face of the brand.

Despite Kanye’s rants, nobody is really surprised. Throughout 2015, Kylie was seen in several photos wearing the brand, and it’s reportedly her favorite workout gear.

Jenner was recently spotted on the streets of New York City celebrating Valentine’s Day, and despite the heavy snow, the teen still posed for photos with fans. Carrying several perfect red roses, and donning a black beanie, Jenner opted to wear a pink wig for the day to celebrate the holiday. Sticking close to friends Jordyn Woods and Harry Hudson, Kylie took selfies with fans before spending time with Tyga.

Over Instagram, Kylie shared that she and on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tyga, celebrated their love with a helicopter ride over New York City.
