Kenya Moore Confuses People About Moore Manor: Running Out Of Cash?

Kenya Moore decided that she wanted to build her own home, Moore Manor, in Atlanta last year. And her new construction site just happens to be down the street from Sheree Whitfield, who decided to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. While Sheree has been working on her home for six years, Moore was convinced that she would be done before the original housewife. But as it turns out, she may be running behind on her own home.

According to a new Instagram post, Kenya Moore recently shared a video of a modern home being built in her area. And many people thought she was sharing a video of her own home, Moore Manor. But as it turns out, she merely wanted to show her followers that her contemporary style is already being copied by local residents.

“I love this house! Looks like #MooreManor #ModernHomes,” Kenya revealed on Instagram, sharing a video of the home under construction.

But as it turns out, this wasn’t a video of Moore’s own home, even though they do look alike; a modern home in a secluded wooded area.

“I passed this house the other week and said the same thing lol I thought it was yours,” one person wrote to Moore, but many others thought it was her home, adding, “Nice to see a true contemporary house, a lot more current in style than the other tired late 90s castles in that same neighborhood,” “Your house looks amazing,” “Looking good! I think it’s coming along nicely,” and “She didn’t meet her mark but Sheree has been building for something like 6 years!”

But Kenya Moore may not be done her home at all. About six months ago when she was filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she told Sheree that she would be done her home in a few months – and that was a promise. However, none of Kenya’s fans have seen pictures of the completed home. Moore has shared plenty of inspiration for her home, including pictures of the bathroom she wants and the desired staircase. If Moore had finished her home, she would surely tell her fans.

According to Radar Online,Kenya Moore did run into some construction delays because someone installed a beam the wrong way. This apparently slowed her down and put her behind schedule, as the beam was placed on the wrong wall and in the wrong location.

“Other than that, it was going great. We are still shooting for Christmas and I think we can get close, but I’m just not sure if we can move in by then, Kenya Moore told OK! Magazine, according to Radar Online, adding, “Hopefully I will be celebrating in Moore Manor. They are definitely planning to come. They just need the confirmation from me that the doors are actually open and that they have a place to sleep and that the lights are on.”

Now Christmas has come and gone and Kenya hasn’t shared any news of her moving into her modern home. In the interview with OK! Magazine from last year, Moore revealed that she had no plans of suing the man who had installed the beam incorrectly, as it was a costly mistake and would be a costly solution to sue him. And while Moore may not want to spend money on suing the man, it doesn’t sound like she’s running into the same financial problems that Sheree did on her home.

When do you think Kenya Moore will be done her home? Are you surprised that she hasn’t moved into her home yet, considering how confident she was when she first started building the home?
