Will Taylor Swift Be Seen With Boyfriend Calvin Harris During The Grammys? Plus, How Did He Handle Kanye West’s Diss?

Taylor Swift had a rough week. As she prepared to take the stage during tonight’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, she was viciously dissed by Kanye West. Luckily, Taylor Swift has a supportive boyfriend, Calvin Harris, who has helped her cope with her fellow artist’s harsh comments.

“[Taylor Swift] woke up today to over 20 dozen roses being delivered to her,” a source told Hollywood Life on February 12. “Calvin felt bad about her rough day yesterday with Kanye and so he decided to cheer her up with red roses, lots of them. [Taylor Swift] is surrounded by so many roses today that she can’t even count them all.”

At the end of last week, Taylor Swift was targeted by West during his Yeezy Season Three fashion show in New York City, where he debuted his new single, “Famous.” On the track, which was released after West publicly made amends with Taylor Swift, West claimed to have made Swift famous, and told listeners he might sleep with her.

“After the drama with Kanye yesterday, Calvin decided to kick off Valentine’s day early,” Hollywood Life‘s source continued. “He wanted to surprise [Taylor Swift] and sees the roses as just the beginning to a long romantic weekend with more gifts and more surprises. [Taylor Swift] loves the flowers and her man.”

Throughout the last several years, Taylor Swift has been linked to a number of men, but typically, her romances didn’t last more than a few weeks — if that. Among her celebrity suitors in recent years are One Direction’s Harry Styles, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Conor Kennedy, Chord Overstreet, and the late Cory Monteith. However, once Taylor Swift was introduced to current boyfriend Harris, things appeared to take a turn in a different direction.

As Who’s Dated Who revealed, Taylor Swift’s friend, Ellie Goulding, introduced the pair during an after party for the Brit Awards in February 2015, and by May 2015, they had taken their relationship public at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles.

As for what Harris thinks of Taylor Swift’s rekindled feud with West, who infamously snatched a microphone out of her hand during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, a source claimed he’s hoping the two will eventually settle their differences in private.

“Calvin thinks that [Taylor Swift] should handle ending her feud with Kanye privately and not in a public setting like the Grammy Awards,” a source told Hollywood Life on February 14. “He’s suggested she should talk it through over the phone and tell Kanye exactly how she feels about what he said in his lyrics. But she shouldn’t pander to Kanye’s ego. He believes she needs to tell him straight that he was wrong for what he did.”

Because West publicly called a truce with Taylor Swift during a previous awards show, most were taken completely by surprise when he dissed her, yet again.

During tonight’s Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift is expected to take the stage for what is sure to be a memorable performance of one of her hit songs, and for the remainder of the show, she’ll be seated in the front row next to longtime friend Selena Gomez. As for whether or not Harris will walk the carpet with Taylor Swift prior to the event, fans will have to wait until tonight and see.
