Zayn Malik, Joe Jonas Hair-Off Continues: Both Men Dye Their Hair Pink

It’s usually women who get compared when it comes to their looks or their style, but it’s nice to see men get compared for a change. Joe Jonas and Zayn Malik have been making headlines for their similar hairstyles that are making fans wonder who’s really copying who.

Zayn Malik and Joe Jonas have been in a hair-off for quite some time. Last week, the Inquisitr reported that the DNCE frontman and the former 1D member were both spotting rocking blonde highlights in their hair. The funny thing is that Jonas used to date Malik’s current girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. It’s making fans wonder if Jonas is trying to cop Malik’s style since Malik moved in on his girl.

On Saturday, the “Pillowtalk” singer posted a photo of himself with freshly dyed pink tips, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Zayn probably didn’t want fans to confuse him for Joe Jonas, who was seen wearing the blonde highlights in Los Angeles last week. Gigi has yet to weigh-in on this latest debate, but rumors have been swirling that the couple have been keeping their distance after showing PDA on social media last week.

According to recent reports, the British heartthrob feels “smothered” by their whirlwind relationship and wanted to cool things down.

“Zayn could be back tracking and cooling things off. He told Gigi he needs some space. She came on strong, but he’s not sure he can deal with that kind of commitment right now. Zayn asked Gigi to let him have more time to himself. He’s feeling a bit smothered. He was having fun at first, but now he’s a lot busier. Yes, he asked her to be in his video, but that was filmed weeks ago things have changed.”

Since he has debuted his new pink hair, some have noticed that he copied Joe Jonas who was already spotted rocking the same color before.

“But Zayn isn’t the first hot singer to rock the look. Joe Jonas, 26, who happens to be Zayn’s GF Gigi Hadid’s ex, dyed his hair pink first!”

Apparently, the former JoBro dyed his hair pink a week ago, according to TMZ. He’s been seen with the shocking new color while performing with his band DNCE at various pre-Grammys parties. Prior to his sexy selfie, Malik was spotted with a fan a couple of days ago with the same hair color.

If you look through Joe Jonas’ Instagram page, you will see he’s not the only one who’s also rocking the hair color. Guitar player JinJoo Lee is also seen wearing pink stripes in her hair. According to a Hollywood Life report, Joe first debuted his pink and blue highlights in early Jan. 2016.

It appears that the color has since faded into blonde highlights. That’s around the time everyone assumed that Joe was blatantly copying Zayn’s bleached blonde look. Joe probably got tired of the accusations, and debuted his new pink hair on Feb. 9, according to his Instagram post.

Looks like the joke is on Zayn Malik, while Joe Jonas wins this round. It’ll be interesting to see if the fellas continue this crazy hair-off at award shows and on social media. Malik has dyed his hair green, blue, and silver, while Jonas has dyed his hair every color of the rainbow by now.

This little feud makes sense, especially since reports claimed that Jonas was completely “blindsided” by Hadid’s growing romance with the singer. The couple ended their relationship in November 2015 due to their busy schedules, but it looks like she has plenty of time for her new guy.
