Grammy Awards Lifetime Achievement Awards

Grammy Awards 2016: The Complete List Of Nominations

It’s almost that time! The 58th Grammy Awards will take place on Monday, February 15, and there are many notable artists up for awards this year.

One of the most talked about nominations has been Joey+Rory for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. As the Inqusitr previously reported, Joey Feek was diagnosed with terminal cancer nearly two years ago, and her current prognosis doesn’t look good. She is living at home in hospice care, trying her hardest to fight the disease that has taken over her body. Although the duo won’t be able to attend the ceremony, they have sent three very special people to be there in their honor.

“We’ll watch the presenters and performances and scan the cutaways to the audience for our daughters and our manager in the sea of people dressed-to-the-nines for the big night,” Rory Feek wrote, adding that his daughters from his previous marriage, Heidi and Hopie Feek, along with their manager, Aaron, were already on their way to Los Angeles to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony in their honor. “And we will smile at each other and wonder how in the world we got so blessed. How we’ve come so far without going anywhere at all.”
