‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Final Trailer — All The Clues You May Have Missed

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has released its final trailer in the lead up to the movie’s theatrical release. Surprisingly, the trailer features mostly new video footage, including Batman (Ben Affleck) taking out some thugs, Superman (Henry Cavill) in a tub, and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in action. What else was included in the final trailer?

According to i09, the trailer opens with a fight scene involving Batman and some unnamed thugs. Featured in the scene are a few good looks at the new Batwing as well as some interesting dialogue between Batman and Alfred (Jeremy Irons).

“Master Wayne, thermal imaging is showing two dozen hostiles on the third floor. Why don’t I drop you off on the second?” Alfred tells Batman as he controls the Batwing remotely from the Batcave.

Despite telling Alfred that he’s getting old, Batman actually makes quick work of the goons. The scene in the latest Batman v Superman trailer shows off Batman’s abilities and strengths, though it admittedly does little to advance the narrative.

Meanwhile, Batman quickly moves on to his beef with Superman as clips of Superman’s ability to destroy cities is shown while Batman argues his case with Alfred. “He has the power to wipe out the entire human race. If we believe there is even one percent chance that he is our enemy, we have to take it as the absolute certainty,” Batman says.

Two distinct fights ensue between the superheroes. The first battle appears to come to nothing as Superman flies away after ruining the Batmobile. However, Batman has a completely different suit in the next fight, and is actually able to stop one of Superman’s punches in mid-flight.

This epic fight between Batman and Superman, according to Collider, is one thing fans can expect Zack Snyder to do well. After all, the trailer is very action heavy and Snyder has bulked up Batman enough to make a serious obstacle to Superman.

If the trailer seemed a little heavy handed on Batman, then its because it was. According to Collider, the new trailer, and the ones that preceded it, have told the story through the eyes of Bruce Wayne while neglecting Superman’s part. One explanation for this perspective is because Batman is just more popular than his counterpart, though it will be interesting to see if the film contains the same point of view.

As far as Superman is concerned, the character is seen sharing an intimate moment with Lois Lane in the bath tub. Lois is later shown caressing Superman’s suit, making it clear that her relationship with him is still going strong.

Apart from the two main stars in the film, Wonder Woman made a big splash in the trailer. The character has only been seen sparsely in other trailers, but in the final version fans caught a glimpse of her in action as well as some dialogue.

“I’ve known a few women like you,” Bruce tells Diana in the trailer. “I don’t think you’ve ever known a woman like me,” she replies.

The trailer then cuts to a scene of a leaping Wonder Woman getting right into the heat of action. She is then shown in the now familiar shot of her raising her shield after taking a hit.

Batman v Superman stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Rounding out the cast includes the likes of Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Diane Lane, and Scoot McNairy.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to premiere in theaters on March 25.
