Brandi Glanville And Ex of Rimes Recall Same Moment They Knew Marriage Was Through

Brandi Glanville and Dean Sheremet have a little too much of what they don’t want to have in common. The ex-wife to actor Eddie Cibrian and the ex-husband to country star Leanne Rimes recently got together and chatted about the distasteful similarities that resulted after their significant others began a relationship with one another. Brandi Glanville, who was married to Cibrian from 2001 to 2010, had two sons with the star. However, Cibrian began an affair with Rimes and left Glanville for Rimes, whom he married in 2011. Sheremet was married to the singer from 2002 to 2010 until the affair began.

The couple did not have any children together, which was a topic that arose during the interaction with Glanville, as Entertainment Tonight shared. Sheremet noted his thankfulness for not having children with Rimes but offered his sympathy to Glanville that she has the difficult situation of sharing her two boys with her ex.

“That was the one thing that I was really thankful for, that we didn’t have kids. It made it a much cleaner break. For you, unfortunately, it was living in L.A., and the love triangle, and kids involved, and the back and forth. I feel your pain.”

The two commiserated about “the moment” they knew that their marriages were over, and found striking similarities due to that moment being when they were all in each other’s company and witnessed the meeting between their now-exes. As ET notes, Brandi poses the question about the specific event that was the beginning of the end.

“Do you remember when we were playing pool in Canada? I mean, like, vividly.”

Dean responds quickly, confirming that he not only remembers but admits that it’s exactly when he saw a shift and felt he was losing Leanne.

“It’s weird that you say that moment, because that was the moment that I knew that it was kinda, it was it. That was a very, very bizarre thing and it was the beginning of the end…I don’t think I wanted to believe it up to the point where I signed my divorce papers. You don’t want to believe it.”

Glanville responds and expresses how she is affected by the similarities found through each divulging details about their own experience.

“I just got the chills. There were other things, but in that moment in time is when it all, I was like, ‘Holy ****, this is happening.’ And it was so bizarre to me, because I knew it, but I didn’t want to believe it. And I feel like you were kind of in the same boat, maybe?”

Although Glanville has made it clear that it’s been a tumultuous few years, especially when it comes to sharing her children and agreeing on matters involving her sons, the reality star has recently shared that things are settling down and not as volatile as they once were, depending on the situations that may arise.

“Glanville says she does not ‘have an issue’ with her 42-year-old ex and his new 33-year-old wife. ‘I always sit with them, or near them at, you know, the school events,’ she said before adding, ‘It ebbs and flows. I wish that we could get along, and then, you know, something will happen with the kids.'”

Rimes has been painted with a negative brush since involving herself in an affair with Cibrian, which led to the divorce between Glanville and the actor. However, Rimes has expressed how she wishes onlookers and haters would understand that they don’t have all the facts and refrain from passing judgement. ET relays Rimes’ words from a previous interview on the subject.

“I just kind of let the B.S. roll off…People’s attitudes — it’s like, ‘God bless you for thinking that, and you really don’t know my situation. Thanks for the input.'”

Nearly seven years after Rimes “stole” Glanville’s husband, the story still receives media attention more likely than not due to Glanville’s willingness to talk about the details and share her pain, as The National Post shares.
