Liam Payne Is Back And He’s Been Taking Lessons From Harry Styles

Liam Payne has made a triumphant return to social media with a series of enigmatic messages. When One Direction finished up on the promotional round for their fifth album, Liam pretty much disappeared. It seems that Liam decided that he would begin the One Direction hiatus three months early. Whilst Payne’s bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan and especially Louis Tomlinson have featured in numerous media articles, Liam has been keeping a very low profile indeed. Payne did post a very occasional message to social media, but in comparison to his bandmates Liam has been One Direction’s “invisible man.”

Payne is normally very active on social media and is known to fans as the king of the social media roast. During the course of last year Liam got involved in a number of online spats, which generally ended with Payne totally ripping his online adversary. Following Payne on social media is therefore normally very entertaining, so Liam’s absence is keenly felt by One Direction fans when he disappears.

According to the Mirror, Liam has been absent for two weeks on this occasion, and as a result, his fans were missing him. Payne’s fans had been busy creating missing posters and using the hashtag #WeMissYouLiam. When Payne did re-emerge last night, he posted a number of enigmatic Instagram posts that suggest that Liam has been taking social media lessons from Harry Styles.

Harry is famously “off the wall” with his social media messages. For example, after Louis Tomlinson’s son was born, Harry took to twitter to post a message that simply said “flowers all round.” No one is certain if it was meant as a congratulatory message to Louis or not.

According to the Daily Star, Payne broke his silence with an Instagram post assumed to be a tribute to Shia Labeouf. Liam posted a picture of himself wearing a paper bag with the words “I am not famous anymore” written on it in black marker pen.

It was however the second of Liam Instagram posts that will have One Direction fans speculating today. Liam’s post features two stills from One Direction’s recent “History” video. The first shows Liam with the full original One Direction line-up whilst the second was shot during the making of the video and a former One Direction member obviously is absent. The caption asks “does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes” and Payne has captioned the picture with the words “sure is crazy.”

One Direction fans are an inquisitive lot, and Liam’s post was one of a number of internet happenings yesterday that had Payne’s fans scratching their heads and wondering what was going on.

As we reported recently, Payne’s bandmate Harry Styles recently sacked Modest Management, the team appointed by Simon Cowell to look after One Direction. Modest’s website has been offline for the past couple of days and is still offline at the time of writing.

Intriguingly, Simon Cowell’s website was also offline, but the seeming demise of the Rainbow Bondage Bear‘s twitter account is what One Direction fans will be speculating about today. Fans of Payne and One Direction are wondering if all of these occurrences are coincidence or whether there is some huge One Direction news in the offing.

Fans of Liam Payne and his bandmates have long since learned that when it comes to One Direction, you come to expect the unexpected. You can be certain that One Direction fans will be scouring the darkest recesses of the internet in a desperate search for information that shows a link between Payne’s posts and the other happenings mentioned above.
