Kim Kardashian Divorce Rumors: Date With Kanye West Goes Terribly Wrong, Kim Reportedly Talking To Divorce Lawyer
Kim Kardashian is facing a new round of divorce rumors after she and Kanye West shared a very distant date night in New York City and Kim reportedly paid a secret visit to a divorce lawyer.
The couple has been plagued by break-up rumors for several months, with sources saying there is mounting tension between the two that existed before Kim got pregnant the second time. In the latest rumor, witnesses claim that Kim and Kanye looked miserable together at an upscale event, with a source telling Radar Online that they “were just very distant towards one another the entire time they were there. They honestly acted like the could not be bothered with each other.”
The source added that Kim and Kanye were the center of attention at the event, which could have increased the pressure.
“Kourtney Kardashian showed up with Jonathan Cheban right after Kim arrived,” the source claimed. “Although Kim and Kanye were swarmed when they came in, Kourtney and Jonathan were virtually unnoticed the entire time that they were there.”
The divorce rumors facing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been mounting for weeks, with report that Kim has been secretly meeting with high-powered divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
“Kim loves Kanye, but they have been fighting constantly recently,” a friend close to Kim Kardashian told Heat.
As a result, Kim scheduled the visit with Wasser to talk about her options.
“Kim met with Laura over the weekend,” the source said last week. “She was at breaking point and needed to talk through where she stood with Kanye.”
The divorce rumors have been plaguing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West pre-date the birth of their son, and actually stretch all the way back to around the time of their wedding. Sources have often hinted at tension between the very media-friendly couple, with allegations of jealousy from both directions.
There are also reports that both Kim and Kanye have a very controlling nature. Celeb Dirty Laundry reported last year that Kim turned into a “diva” during her latest pregnancy, which reportedly drove Kanye West to his breaking point.
“Kim is like a mad woman when she is pregnant, and she lashes out at everyone,” a source said. “To top it off, her self-esteem is at an all time low because she just turned 35. After she was photographed wearing rubber sandals, she was a mess for nearly two days over it. Even her paid staff aren’t getting paid enough to be around her, Kanye is at his breaking point. It will be a miracle if he manages to not dump her before his son is born.”
It can often be difficult to separate truth from fabrication when it comes to Kim and Kanye. The pair are a popular target for tabloids, and many of the reports fail to amount to anything. Several times unnamed sources have claimed that the couple was sure to divorce, yet they continue to appear in public seeming quite happy and Kim is continually sharing intimate Instagram photos of the two seeming very much in love.
In fact just this week, amid the drama of their alleged tension-filled date, Kim showed up to Kanye’s fashion show at Madison Square Garden, appearing every bit the part of a supportive wife.

For their part, neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian are addressing the divorce rumors publicly.
