Sylvester Stallone Hires Private Eye To Investigate Son Sage’s Death

Actor Sylvester Stallone is mounting his own investigation into the sudden death of Sage Stallone. The Rocky star has hired private investigator Scott Ross to find out what really happened to his eldest son.

According to TMZ

We’re told Sly wants Ross to figure out what happened to his son — and he’s not ruling out foul play, even though he has no evidence of that. Sly also wants to know about Sage’s final weeks … whether he was using drugs or consuming alcohol. The actor also wants to know what, if anything, was troubling his son.

Sage Stallone, 36, was found dead in his Hollywood home on Friday. Prescription drugs were apparently involved. As The Inquisitr has previously reported, the official investigation has been transferred to the LAPD Robbery Homicide division even though no crime is suspected at this point. It may be several weeks before the coroner’s report is completed, including toxicology data, but authorities apparently expect that it is likely the death will be ruled as accidental or from natural causes.

Sylvester Stallone issued a heartfelt plea to the media on Monday to cease speculating about his son’s tragic death until all the facts surface.

Ross is a Stallone family friend who also has handled other high-profile celebrity cases such as those involving actor Robert Blake, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown.

Sage Stallone made his acting debut in Rocky V with his dad, but more recently had been involved in the movie industry on the other side of the camera as a producer and director.
