Gwen Stefani Reveals Her ‘Embarrassing’ Moment With Blake Shelton, Talks Plans For Valentine’s Day

Gwen Stefani may have gushed over Blake Shelton in her new single, “Make Me Like You,” but it appears that the former No Doubt frontwoman is also opening up about her recent embarrassing moment with the country singer during a new interview on Friday.

While promoting her newest single during an interview with host Ryan Seacrest for On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, Stefani also took a moment to answer some pressing questions regarding her budding romance with fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton.

“Let’s just set the record straight,” Ryan Seacrest began while holding up a paparazzi photo of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton running errands together. “What was he looking at?”

The photo in question shows Gwen Stefani walking away from Blake Shelton’s truck while the country singer appears to catch a glimpse of the songstress’ backside, E! News reports.

In response to the photo, Gwen Stefani explains, “Try to picture being a mom and going to a football game on the weekend with your kids and being surrounding by 30 cameras, like, 30, like, at least!”

“I was literally going across the field, like trying to stroll, like get into the car and just being completely swarmed and doing it as fast as I could,” Stefani explains of the photo. “I literally opened the back of the truck and all the groceries fell out, the eggs cracked…and I’m just trying to rush ’cause everybody’s watching me and yelling. Not just that, but all the other parents are getting mad.”

Gwen continues, “So I’m like, trying to open my door and I open the door and like, not one but two basketballs and a football fell out. So [Blake] was looking at the balls.”

In addition, Gwen Stefani recalled the “super embarrassing moment” during an interview with Valentine In The Morning via 104.3 My FM, telling the radio station that she and Blake shared a good laugh over the incident despite being embarrassed by all of the attention.

“I was going to pick those up and he was looking at the balls…and we were laughing because we’re like, ‘Oh my God!’ It was like a super embarrassing moment,” Gwen concludes.

The news comes just shortly after Gwen Stefani debuted her newest single, “Make Me Like You,” on Friday, February 12 in which the songstress seemingly alludes to her new romance with Blake Shelton following her divorce from longtime husband Gavin Rossdale, Us Weekly reports.

In the song, Gwen sings, “I was fine before I met you / I was broken but fine / I was lost and uncertain / But my heart was still mine / I was free before I met you / I was broken but free / All alone in the clear view / But now you are all I see.”

Gwen isn’t the only one who has been gushing over her new romance with Shelton; Blake recently gushed over his new lady in an interview Access Hollywood in which the “Neon Light” singer revealed his plans to have Stefani serve as his adviser for the upcoming season of The Voice.

“We know we collaborate well together as coaches so of course I would have her as my mentor, and she is so smart and talented,” Blake Shelton explained of Gwen’s return to the NBC series.

“[Blake’s] very perceptive about voices and he’s just really good at what he does,” Gwen gushed in response to Blake’s comments, “That’s why he’s a winner and it was really fun to be in there with him and to learn a little bit today.”

As for the duo’s Valentine’s Day plans, Gwen admits that she will be attending the wedding of Jimmy Iovine and model Liberty Ross this Sunday, but did not specify whether or not Blake Shelton will accompany her to the wedding.
