Kim Kardashian Goes Platinum Blonde Again For Husband Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has gone platinum blonde again for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Show. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made her first-ever post-baby appearance at New York Fashion Week.

On Thursday, February 11, Kanye West took over Madison Square Garden and overshadowed everyone else at NYFW to debut his Yeezy Season 3 collection and to play his new album, The Life of Pablo. Kim Kardashian showed up with the Kardashian-Jenner clan with her new platinum blonde hair color. Just a few days ago, Kardashian was spotted in NYC rocking braided plaits in her dark hair.

This isn’t the first time she has gone to the lighter side. Kim nearly broke the internet at the Balmain show last year when she rocked platinum blonde hair. Her hair also caused some controversy. A few people thought she was wearing a wig, but Kim insisted that it was an actual dye job. To the dismay of her fans, she returned to her natural dark locks three weeks later.

This year, though, she mentioned she was feeling a little nervous about making her post-baby debut.

“About to pull up with the fam!!!! I have butterflies,” she tweeted to her fans.

She then took to Twitter and Instagram to show off her hot new look. Kardashian not only showed off her new platinum hairstyle, but she also showed off an insane amount of cleavage in the photo.

The 35-year-old starlet wore a platinum blonde wig with a white fur coat over a fringe dress with a plunging neckline. Of course, the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan wore matching outfits as well. Kardashian even brought along her 2-year-old daughter, North West. The Kardashian-Jenner clan then posed for pictures with Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Kim Kardashian has revealed in the past that Kanye West loves having her as a blonde. Maybe that’s why she wanted to wear a platinum blonde wig for his big moment at Fashion Week. Back in 2014, Kim revealed to People about Kanye’s sudden interest in her as a blonde and said that she would rather stick to her signature color.

“Kanye likes the blonde. But I think I’m going to stay dark. I was talking about this yesterday actually with Kanye. He asked if I would ever go back to blonde. I was like, ‘Not right after a baby, because my face was so swollen and it looked my lips were huge. My face was just off.'”

But of course, Kim could always slap on a wig if she wants to make her man happy. Her fans already know that she’s worn a wig before. Kim played a prank on the media in June 2014, but it turns out that it was just a wig for a photoshoot.

“After I saw [me blonde] it was definitely fun, but then I thought that I can just wear a wig if I really have the urge. It was so easy.”

Just a year prior, Kim Kardashian’s stylist revealed that her husband loves it when she dyes her locks blonde. Back in 2013, Kardashian went a flattering shade of honey blonde thanks to her colorist George Papanikolas from the Andy LeCompte salon. He revealed to E! News that Kardashian has been wanting to lighten up her locks for some time.

“It’s something she’s wanted to do for a long time. I’ve been coloring her hair for a year, and she’s wanted to go blonder since the day we met. She was so excited. She loved it…[but] It was scary for me because she gets photographed a lot!”

He also revealed that he had to schedule two secret appointments with Kim, and her whole family was watching him.

“The whole family was watching. Then, everyone wanted to go blonder!”

Kanye West, of course, loved Kim Kardashian’s golden honey blonde locks at the time. But he wanted his wife to go even lighter, which explains her sudden urge to rock platinum blonde wigs.

“He loves it! He was a big cheerleader for her to go blonde,” Kim’s stylist added.

Kanye West also loves to dress his wife, and it shows. When he made his debut on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, he threw out all of Kardashian’s clothes and bought her a whole new wardrobe. Since then, things haven’t been the same. It even looks like West’s fashion sense is rubbing off on the rest of the clan.
