New Wishing Well Added By The ‘Romantic Garden Stuff’ Pack Adds Powerful, Random Outcomes To ‘The Sims 4’

Since the release of the “Romantic Garden Stuff” pack on February 9, The Sims 4 players have been creating the most amorous outdoor environments they can. With new lattices, plants, archways, and a handful of items for Sims, the new stuff pack arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day. Like the game’s five other stuff packs, the “Romantic Garden Stuff” pack also includes a few new gameplay objects with which Sims can interact.

One of those new gameplay objects from the newly released pack is the Whispering Wishing Well. This well in The Sims 4 is known to have the power to grant wishes to Sims that visit it, but it is also known for being rather fickle. Sometimes the well provides exactly what the Sim desires, and sometimes the well decides to curse a Sim with a slightly ironic fate.

In an official overview of the Whispering Wishing Well, players can preview just a few of the possible consequences from interacting with the new gameplay object. For instance, a Sim might wish for money or Simoleons to come easily to them in the game. On a good day, the well will simply shower the Sims with coins from dark recesses of its pit. On a bad day, the well will give the Sim a different way to their windfall. Instead of just spitting Simoleons at their feet, the well will tell the Sim a secret about a neighbor. The secret is so shocking and terrible that it is a sure way to blackmail the neighbor into giving the wishing Sim a bundle of cash. However, this method earns the Sim a new enemy and the knowledge that they are willing to blackmail their friends.

Speaking of enemies, the well might take a wish for love and romance and twist it into something even rarer in The Sims 4. If the well chooses to grant a wish for love in an unexpected way, a Sim might meet the perfect lover that he or she absolutely cannot tolerate. Sims can become enemies with benefits thanks to this outcome from the mercurial wishing well.

Ghost children, immortality, and other game-changing consequences can all be obtained from using the Whispering Wishing Well. A plethora of interactions and outcomes are possible when using the well. Even a simple wish for happiness can yield unfortunate results like the wishing Sim being drained of happiness while beaming an aura of happiness to anyone nearby.

Considering the types of wishes that can be granted among the 50 different outcomes available, the Whispering Wishing Well is one of more versatile and welcome additions to The Sims 4. Players can place it now after the purchase of the “Romantic Garden Stuff” pack from Origin. Like all stuff packs available for the game, the stuff pack is just $9.99. Sales are a common occurrence for The Sims 4, too, and thrifty players may benefit from waiting until the pack goes on sale at a later date.

“Romantic Garden Stuff” also includes a number of new clothes for Sims, outdoor decorations, and another other gameplay object; the Fountain of Gluteus Maximus. As the Inquisitr reported, Sims can take a seat on the new fountain and playfully splash their paramour. More mischievous Sims can pour soap in the fountain for the chance at a bubbly prank, or whimsical Sims can even jump into the fountain for a little wade.

Players interested in purchasing the new stuff pack for The Sims 4 can preview each item in the pack before purchasing it, too. Just head over to the official website for The Sims 4 for a thumbnail preview of all the items included. Four new hairstyles, new fashion for both genders, and a number of outdoor decorations make up the contents of the pack. What is your favorite item from the “Romantic Garden Stuff” pack?
