‘Mob Wives’ Star Drita D’Avanzo Arrested: What Led To Arrest?

Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo has been on the show since the very beginning, and she’s known for having a feisty personality. Drita has been caught up in violent altercations on the show without any consequences, but it sounds like D’Avanzo’s behavior has gotten her into legal trouble. The mother of two got into a physical altercation this week, which resulted in someone getting hurt. According to a new Page Six report, Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo was arrested in New York this week after hitting another woman. She was charged with assault and was taken into custody.

Apparently, the altercation broke out in the Tottenville neighborhood of Staten Island. The argument started out verbally, but things quickly escalated. D’Avanzo threw punches at the other woman, and the police were called. Cops say that Drita started the fight. It is possible that this fight was filmed for Mob Wives or was possibly with a co-star. The other woman hasn’t been identified, but she does have some outstanding issues with her co-stars.

Drita D’Avanzo managed to punch the other woman a number of times, which resulted in a cut on her lip and swelling to the head. The victim didn’t want medical attention after the police were called, and it sounds like she wasn’t too eager to cooperate with police. Drita was taken into custody at 5:36 p.m. and charged with one count of misdemeanor assault. She has since been released, and it is possible she will get a court date to answer to this case.

D’Avanzo never acknowledged the arrest on her social media pages. The day after the arrest, she shared the news of a party at her store next week.

Drita also went crazy last night, as Mob Wives was airing. She was being accused of coaching one of the new girls, as the new cast member was saying many of the same things as she has said. And D’Avanzo is no stranger to drama. Many of her supporters reached out to her last night, but not many mentioned the arrest.

And there seems to be plenty of support in the Mob Wives community these days, as Big Ang has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Big Ang knew that she was struggling with her health, but she had no idea that the cancer had spread so much. Her co-stars have shown their support for the beloved Ang. While D’Avanzo hasn’t posted anything about Ang as Mob Wives was airing, Renee Graziano posted a lengthy message about her co-star’s illness.

“Although this picture is from last year.. It’s one of my favorites.. We were in Cali enjoying ourselves..I’m posting this not just because of all the questions on angs health.. But because I’ve tried to explain many a times that angs condition is for Ang to tell.. All I will say is she looks fab her spirits are the best they can be.. She attended the reunion. So if your going to do anything for her please pray and if you want to know her condition ask Ang for an update on her health it’s not for me to discuss.. I would hate to give wrong information.. Her family knows exactly whts going on… Thank you for all the love…” Renee Graziano revealed on Instagram earlier this week.
